I'm sure I saw "4REAL" on his arm the other week, but in biro.

Probably a small shopping reminder, that's about 58p in UK money.

I got sent the album from that Britannia Music Club thing, when you signed up to get three free CDs of your choice then got sent absolute shite once a month for the next two years.

Britannia Music, blimey, that’s a blast from the past. I used to get nearly all my music from them before I had a 50cc scooter to get me out of sleepy Dawlish.

I'll never forgive them, or myself, for not sending back 'Blast' by Holly Johnson. Americanos indeed. Wanker. Now that's stuck in my head again.

That was their MO. You'd sign up and order CDs you liked, say in my case New Order, Happy Mondays or whatever, and then get sent rubbish like Beverley Craven or Tamsin Archer for the next two years. Or even worse, the Manic Street Preachers.

You're doing Johnson wrong. It was 'Coke, Pepsi and Oreos."

They always sent me Cheryl Crow for some reason. Not her though sadly.

Was that the album where she covered 'I Got You Babe" and 'Believe'?

F'kin hell. Online Music club? What were you thinking Martin? They will only lure you in then send you the shit they cannot sell through the stores.

Sheryl. We saw her being interviewed on TV the other day and thought she looked really good. She must be pushing sixty, surely.

This reminds me of the time I joined World Books on a trial basis and got sent the equivalent of the Brazilian rain forests every month containing utter dross like Delia Smith recipes on a never ending loop and seemingly costing more to return than the books themselves.
