I think Burnley and Newcastle might be the only games where we get down to season ticket holders with no aways. Maybe West Ham not sure how many they give away fans?

Burnley is a smaller away allocation as well.

Seem to remember we had loads at Burnley first time we played there in the Premier League. Maybe they've reduced it since. I remember the away end was woefully ill-equipped for such a large contingent.

Burnley will spend most of next season in the bottom 3 with diminishing attendance so unlikely that they will reduce away allocation.

Burnley only give 2500 rather than the 4k they used to.
Palace allocation will be 3000.
West Ham is last away game so will be the fastest selling all season.

Chelsea away midweek in December will go down to season ticket holders or members. As will Newcastle as we never travel well up there.

A factor for Spurs is it's still holiday season and a lot of people are away.

We dont sell out generally at Spurs. Last game of the season apart, we've not taken a decent number down there for a while. Arsenal on the other hand could be a 3am kick off and they'd all go.

So, looks like I will be trying to go to Newcastle, then! Hopefully we get one of the North West take as many tickets as you want clubs in the FA Cup.

Newcastle is a brilliant away. Good night out, good city and you get the bitter twats waiting for you (and an appropriate number of police to ensure they're safe) outside and giving it the faux kick off.

Haven't been for years. Might do this one. Assume it will probably be moved to a Monday night or to kick off before the first train gets in from New Street as usual.

Always found it strange that as you say we very rarely take the full 3000 to Spurs and often only took 1900 yet Arsenal is always one of the most popular away games. We take 3k to QPR, 5k+ to Fulham yet hardly ever took 3k to Chelsea.

If you're a season ticket holder looking to get on the ladder then Chelsea, Newcastle, Norwich and maybe Burnley as it's New Years Day will all offer opportunity. All depends how we're doing aswell, if we're losing every week then interest obviously won't be as high.

We'll actually twat the Spud heads motley crew this time, so they'll definitely all be out side getting upset when reminded that we relegated them twice.

It's also almost bloody universally moved for the box.

Re: QV post, Chelsea used to be £50+ a go, which explained it. Now it's a £30 cap, it will sell out.

I should imagine the reason we did not sell out at Chelsea was due to the cost of the tickets - I would imagine that now most tickets are £30.00 then the away games will sell out quite quickly.

Season ticket holders may get a chance of tickets at Brighton??

Looking at some of the allocations we received last season, it may explain why we went down to 9+ and why the club used that number as a ceiling.  Some grounds (Millwall, Brentford etc) only gave us 2,000 tickets, several others only gave us 2,300ish.  Add the few games that we didn't sell out and I'd bet that over half our aways saw 2,300 or less in attendance

I managed to squeeze in yesterday at the 9+ceiling after a week of sweating.  If anyone doesn't have a ticket and really wants to go, we were looking at one of their hospitality packages for £400 including VAT.  I know that not everyone wants to/can afford to pay this amount but it's an option (if there's any available).  It includes a 3 course buffet and free drinks for 3 hours before, half time and an hour afterwards.  With that lot and a seat on the half way line thrown in, you're effectively paying £200 over the odds but in return, having a quality day out.

Still hard to register how good our away support is compared to the 100 if that that went to orient last game of season 1974, 44 on the special to Leeds bank holiday Monday games handful only on more than a few occasions to Middlesbrough not forgetting virtually no more be at Southampton night game at the dell
