Big ask, but looking for three for Spurs away, if any away schemers, or folks with big histories, can’t make it, please. Happy to take singles, too. Thanks very much in advance.
-
I need one kids one if possible too
-
If any of you sexy people has one or two refs going, I'll love you forever.
-
Any idea when the tickets go on sale?
-
Well it’s not going to be until after ST sales have closed & whatever the ‘away scheme’ will be next season has got up & running.
The away scheme still needs to be opened, applied for etc - so don’t expect anything soon!
-
A lot of arguing and bedlam lies ahead. The club has joined the likes of Man City/Spurs/Everton without much effort. Shows the potential size of the Villa.
-
My Spurs supporting mate tells me that tickets are on sale from Tuesday for them. No news for us yet though!
I doubt I will qualify to get one so I'll add myself to the list for a reference please !!
-
have heard they are going on sale on Thursday to people with 18+ aways from last season. Away scheme scrapped.
-
On sale from 5pm to 18+.
25 pairs of tickets to be in the ballot.
-
How many supporters have we got in 18+,15+,12+ ?
-
The new sales criteria will start at season ticket holders who attended 18+ away games last season all the way through to general sale, with 15+, 12+, 9+, Season Ticket Holders and Claret/Cub members in between.
-
Where are the ticket details for this? Can't see anything on the OS. I'm not gonna go anyway, just curious.

Ta. Looks like I'll never be able to go to an away match again 🙁
-
Well last season was fun while it lasted
-
First away game sorted.
Same process as last year, pick your block, pick your spot. Get charged £1 per ticket posted even though they go in the same envelope. Job jobbed.
-
It still not availalbe on the website for me. Has anyone been able to buy yet
-
I got on with no problems. In and out in 2 minutes
-

I've bought. Did you sign in before looking? I didn't once and couldn't understand why it wouldn't let me buy.
-
Yes, Strange, still showing as "coming soon" for me same as travel for the game. Tried logging out and in..
Will have to call up in the morning if it's not sorted
-
That usually means you haven't met the sales criteria at this point.

Yep, I have definitely 12 but hopefully 15 and getting this message and was the same last season.
-

I feel like that but with home games added into the pot!
A season ticket just doesn't make sense for me living in London and travelling overseas a fair bit for work.
-
Does claret membership give you a decent chance of home tickets?
Regardless, we need a bigger ground!
-

Yes it does and I#ve bought mine.
If we consolidate this season and look capable of progressing then you are right an extension to Villa Park may be required. Not counting any chickens yet though!

How many tickets have we been given by Spurs?

Only 3038. I think it might sell out !

Nice one. I’m jealous. Atmosphere will be electric. Couldn’t have picked a better away game to start

Not quite sure as surely those still on ST waiting list will have bought memberships as second best choice , plus those of us who wanted the membership as first choice and only 8000 up for grabs .
The most difficult period of getting any villa tickets I can remember in my lifetime
-
I've got a claret membership and was banking on being able to get home tickets, already booked my travel for Bournemouth!
-
Booked my spurs tickets. In and out in no time via the app.
-
Massive long shot I know, but if anyone has a spare reference (a child’s reference would also be welcome), I’d be eternally grateful. Thanks.
-
I’m also looking if anyone can help. Thanks!

I'm on the scrounge now for a Spurs ticket. Not for me i hasten to add.
A friend of mine, whom i will name, lives in Melbourne in Oz. He comes over here very often and actually has a home ST.
He has 8 aways on his history from last season.
He comes back over here shortly and is desperate to get a ticket for Spurs.
Some on here may well know him already. His name is John Anstey and he contacted me this morning via Twitter.
Anyone who maybe able to help can get hold of John direct if they would prefer his Twitter id is @VillaJohn01.
If not on Twitter then by all means come via me.
Cheers

Well lads , life long villa fan here go to about 12/14 home games each season as claret and cub members from Ireland but like the rest of you struggling to get away tickets , was wondering could anybody help with 2 for Spurs away please? I can help with ref for home games that I can't fly over for ,thanks

Bump.

Anyone know how many left?
Appears play off semi did not count so I'm on 14 aways, got to wait till Thursday to try. No idea if I'm likely to be in luck
-
If I don't get one on 14 I'll be fucking raging
-
1001 after a quick count of the blocks. How accurate that is I dont know. Some may well be held back.

-
Back of the fucking net. This will be epic
-
Not sold our allocation yet ?
-
544 left having gone on sale to 12+ yesterday evening.
Next category change is 29th July where it moves to 9+.
-
I thought it would have sold out at 12+? Surely more than 3k+ did 12 or more aways?
-
Got our tickets
so we normally drive to games, no parking near WHL (info to contrary gratefully receiveD) so thinking of driving to Enfield and getting train to WHL from there.
Anyone got any other options?
-
Another travel question. I’ve always got the tube to Seven Sisters then done the very long walk to the ground. Is it better to get the over ground train from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane?
I know there’s some good pubs around Liverpool Street but I’ve no idea what the train services are like, size of queues etc.
Cheers

I've tended to park on the estates Edmonton way, the other side of the A10 and walk.

-
It was yes. Ita a bit if a walk (25+ mins) but Spurs fans park there too.
-
I've been able to get a ticket. The criteria has gone down to 9 aways.
-
137 left. Be gone tonight.

It depends where you're coming in from. We usually get the train from Liverpool Street to WHL (which gets gradually busier the closer you get to the ground) but that's because it's easy to get to Liverpool Street for me. The trains aren't as frequent as tubes but it takes you much closer to the ground'. And the station is virtually next door to the Haringay Irish centre, which is always good for away fans.
After the game though, the queue for WHL station always reminds me of the soul-destroying queues outside Upton Park tube - seems to go on as far as the eye can see. I suppose you can stay in the ground now after the game and have a drink to let the queues die down.
Probably not much help....

Thanks mate. We’ll be coming from Marylebone station so could get to Liverpool Street in about 20 minutes.

137 left. Be gone tonight.
Tottenham was always going to sell out on a high game priority, but if it has gone down to 9 games, I think it gives hope for Season Ticket holders for future away games..Palace next might be that opportunity.
-
Allocation will be smaller at Palace.
-
I think Burnley and Newcastle might be the only games where we get down to season ticket holders with no aways. Maybe West Ham not sure how many they give away fans?
-
Burnley is a smaller away allocation as well.
-
Seem to remember we had loads at Burnley first time we played there in the Premier League. Maybe they've reduced it since. I remember the away end was woefully ill-equipped for such a large contingent.
-
Burnley will spend most of next season in the bottom 3 with diminishing attendance so unlikely that they will reduce away allocation.
-
Burnley only give 2500 rather than the 4k they used to.
Palace allocation will be 3000.
West Ham is last away game so will be the fastest selling all season.
Chelsea away midweek in December will go down to season ticket holders or members. As will Newcastle as we never travel well up there.
A factor for Spurs is it's still holiday season and a lot of people are away.
-
We dont sell out generally at Spurs. Last game of the season apart, we've not taken a decent number down there for a while. Arsenal on the other hand could be a 3am kick off and they'd all go.
-
So, looks like I will be trying to go to Newcastle, then! Hopefully we get one of the North West take as many tickets as you want clubs in the FA Cup.
-
Newcastle is a brilliant away. Good night out, good city and you get the bitter twats waiting for you (and an appropriate number of police to ensure they're safe) outside and giving it the faux kick off.
-
Haven't been for years. Might do this one. Assume it will probably be moved to a Monday night or to kick off before the first train gets in from New Street as usual.
-

Always found it strange that as you say we very rarely take the full 3000 to Spurs and often only took 1900 yet Arsenal is always one of the most popular away games. We take 3k to QPR, 5k+ to Fulham yet hardly ever took 3k to Chelsea.
If you're a season ticket holder looking to get on the ladder then Chelsea, Newcastle, Norwich and maybe Burnley as it's New Years Day will all offer opportunity. All depends how we're doing aswell, if we're losing every week then interest obviously won't be as high.
-

We'll actually twat the Spud heads motley crew this time, so they'll definitely all be out side getting upset when reminded that we relegated them twice.
It's also almost bloody universally moved for the box.
Re: QV post, Chelsea used to be £50+ a go, which explained it. Now it's a £30 cap, it will sell out.
-
I should imagine the reason we did not sell out at Chelsea was due to the cost of the tickets - I would imagine that now most tickets are £30.00 then the away games will sell out quite quickly.
Season ticket holders may get a chance of tickets at Brighton??
-
Looking at some of the allocations we received last season, it may explain why we went down to 9+ and why the club used that number as a ceiling. Some grounds (Millwall, Brentford etc) only gave us 2,000 tickets, several others only gave us 2,300ish. Add the few games that we didn't sell out and I'd bet that over half our aways saw 2,300 or less in attendance
I managed to squeeze in yesterday at the 9+ceiling after a week of sweating. If anyone doesn't have a ticket and really wants to go, we were looking at one of their hospitality packages for £400 including VAT. I know that not everyone wants to/can afford to pay this amount but it's an option (if there's any available). It includes a 3 course buffet and free drinks for 3 hours before, half time and an hour afterwards. With that lot and a seat on the half way line thrown in, you're effectively paying £200 over the odds but in return, having a quality day out.
-
Still hard to register how good our away support is compared to the 100 if that that went to orient last game of season 1974, 44 on the special to Leeds bank holiday Monday games handful only on more than a few occasions to Middlesbrough not forgetting virtually no more be at Southampton night game at the dell
-
I wasn't born.

Still 400 left

👍No plastic fans though 😄

Still 400 left
Which shows what a joke decision it was to give people with ST's the same opportunity as people with 6/8 aways!
-
I’m also looking if anyone can help. Thanks!
All sorted now, thanks
-
If anyone is sitting on enough aways to qualify I'm looking for two tickets please!

I think this goes to show what a sham the away scheme was last season. Clearly a lot on it didn’t go regularly away

I’m surprised given the outcry about last years scheme when a few hundred fans dipped into their pockets to help out the club in its greatest financial crisis ever (that’s my take on it, I was member myself, I didn’t need to I would have got tickets anyway), that more hasn’t been made about home fans jumping the queue by becoming members at £30 a shot when we don’t need the money! I hope we make sure they’re not just going to the odd game.

I'd say those who dipped their hand in their pocket as you call it did so to guarantee themselves a ticket for big games. Besides, I very much doubt a couple of hundred fans paying for the away scheme was going make a difference to the shit we were in.
-

Agreed. They obviously didn't do 9+ aways and picked and chose their games, I.e. Albion and Blues. Which is what people said all along.

I was part of the Away Scheme and I did go to 9+ aways last year & got a Spurs ticket on Monday. For the record, I wouldn't go to Blues if you paid me.
-
What you’ve said Jane vindicates my argument- I went 17 league aways last season but my history will only show 15. Why should someone have benefited above me for an Albion okay off away ticket if they had attended less aways. Again it was an easy way for the club to get shot of allocations quickly
Am sure the villa were tempted to continue with the scheme this season but would have faced questions about the admin charge making tickets much higher than £30 seal
-
Does anyone have any idea on how many are left?
My window opens at 5pm and looks like there's some availability but just wondering how likely it is that I'll get one.
-
Avfcsupport on Twitter saying 300 left but website showing only a handful left.
-
As a matter of interest, were all of the sections available to 18+ aways or have they released them as sales progressed?
-

Strange that it's been on sale to 9+ aways for 3 days and only just sold out a few hours before all season ticket holders.

The away scheme had a £25 charge for years, back to the O'Neil days, it had nothing to do with the financial situation of the club, more that it's a scheme that has to be managed and operated and that comes at a cost.
I think the whole thing went downhill when we had to start buying the tickets ourselves IF we wanted them, rather than automatically getting sent a ticket and only being allowed to return three each season before being kicked out.
-

Strange that it's been on sale to 9+ aways for 3 days and only just sold out a few hours before all season ticket holders.
I think many of us 9+ simply thought we had no chance, & over those 3 days it has gradually clicked with more and more of us that they were still on sale!
-
I was disappointed to see the away scheme discontinued as the cost was more than outweighed by being able to by train tickets very early in the knowledge you would get a ticket - saved a lot of money.

I’m not so sure. The figure remaining hardly moved between Tuesday morning and this morning then hey presto, they all go within a couple of hours this afternoon.
I strongly suspect that Villa waited to give all 9+ a chance and then let the last few go to corporate and sponsors who will have all been nagging for extra tickets. I doubt there was ever any intention to release the last few at 5pm today.
-
I think your cynicism is well founded Brassneck. There's still so much that is wrong at our club.
-
Ok, I'll join the other queue; if anyone has a spare please let me know. (I qualify for senior ticket but happy to pay standard price if available). Cheers, guys.
-
I don't think it is sold out. The ticket site says sales will be temporarily suspended from 4.30 to 5pm and STHs can buy them then.
Exact wording:
'Ticket sales for this match will be suspended at 4.30pm today and re-open at 5.00pm to all Season Ticket Holders'
-
That message has been there all day and sold out flag came up at 2.30ish.
-
Tickets were available at 5pm, but had gone by 1701. Clicked on three singles, but never got them in the basket in time.
-
Shit.
They came avaliable for a bit, I selected seats, then a message appeared at the bottom saying seat not avaliable. Bollocks.
-
Never got one also, selected it but next second not available by that time you are too late to select another seat.
Reckon only about 30 available at most, so if anyone has a spare let me know please!
The annoying thing is I have eight aways from last season!
-
Right, following that, if anyone has two spares (or even one) I'd be really really appreciative - happy to pay whatever. The old man and I have been season ticket holders for years and we've done plenty of aways in the past, but with my A-Levels being last season I couldn't really afford to do many. If anyone is able to help it would be hugely appreciated!
(I should add we managed to do five before Christmas - including Yeovil and Burton!!)

For games like this, Man Utd, Wolves, last game of the season etc they should have staggered the criteria more and done 18+, 15+, 12+, 9+, 6+ etc. I know loads of people who did 7 or 8 aways who didn't get a ticket whereas a few season ticket holders with no aways will have got one. Hardly fair. By all means go from 9+ or 6+ straight to season ticket holders for games like Norwich, Newcastle where the demand will be less.
-
You think Sawaris and Edens, who have just delivered promotion and spent well over £100 million, are clueless wankers?
Mental isn't it. Owners save the club, promote the club, spend a fortune, but someone misses out on a ticket so the owners are suddenly clueless wankers.

Sounds a bit complicated. Will be a bit unfair if I get free tickets when I haven't bothered my arse to apply when others are desperate to pay money for tickets and can't get them. Still, I wouldn't complain I suppose.
-
They're not free, but you must be a season ticket holder to enter.
Guess it's designed to give a leg up to some who have less stamps on their card.
-

If you're looking for a pair of tickets would both of you have to be season ticket holders or just the one who applies?
-
I don't know a great deal of detail, but from what I gather, its 25 entrants into the ballot for 50 tickets. That implies that only the entrant need be a season ticket holder.
-
Isn't it part of the Pride Rewards scheme? There's a section for draws which is where I'm guessing you can apply. I don't think you have to be a season ticket holder, you just need to have enough rewards point to enter the draw.

Correct. If you enter though and don't win then you still lose your reward points that you've built up I believe.
-
I lost out yesterday in the 5.00 scramble
so fuck it I’ve bought a couple from one of the ticket companies in the home ends

I don't think it is. I received an email so I presume they are emailing every season ticket holder that was eligible to buy one. I applied and didn't go through the rewards process at all. I've still got the same amount of reward points as well.

I lost out yesterday in the 5.00 scramble
so fuck it I’ve bought a couple from one of the ticket companies in the home ends
I did similar. How are you getting there John? Thinking of driving to Cheshunt then getting the train from there to the stadium.

If you're going into London, get the tube from Euston to Liverpool Street, then get the overland train sirect to White Hart Lane. Think we're now going to do the same from Kettering to St Pancras.

Link to official Spurs site for travel advice:-

...and to the TfL site for the usual weekend information noting, in particular, the closures on the District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan tube lines:-
https://tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/?startDate=2019-08-10T00%3A00%3A00&endDate=2019-08-11T23%3A59%3A59&dateTypeSelect=This%20weekend#
As Risso has already said above, Liverpool Street to WHL overground is the best option (from my experience, also).
