Nice article to be fair, mainly because they never lose at our place but well written I thought:

Beating Man United at home and winning the FA Cup are right near the top of my list of priorities for next season.

Both have been far too long. Sort it out please, Villa.

Wow what a lovely write up. Seems they have a geuine fondness for Villa Park. And its true it is a beautiful old stadium. (Not withstanding the decrepit state of the north stand facade) It remains to be seen if they still like it so much after Deano outwits Ole and we beat them there. Still though that was as heartwarming as it was unexpected. Fair do's to the writer.

By contrast Liverpool fans - or at least those who post on RAWK - seem to hate us.  We have our own thread there and apart from one or two positive remarks about Dean Smith it's properly ridiculous stuff.

"The stadium was designed by the legendary Archibald Leith in the late 19th century"

Fact check:

The original Trinity Road stand was designed by Archibald Leith and completed in 1924.
It was destroyed by Herbert Douglas Ellis in the late 20th century.

Could the author not find another ManU fan to recall that on Boxing Day 1989 it was at Villa Park that they were calling for Fergie's head?

It's not as if the dislike is one way traffic, e.g. posts on here when they beat Barcelona.  I hope they batter Spurs. The same Spurs who offered us a few million and Onomah for Grealish.

There's taking advantage of another clubs misfortune and then there's outright taking the piss.

Not sure how much you can judge from this and I can’t be naffed to read it - but lived up there and in my experience their fans were generous about the Villa, whilst Evertonians were less so, perhaps as we’re more direct rivals. United fans are generally nice about us but as said here, they always bloody beat us so no wonder!
