I found that they are BSG Chemie Leipzig which I realise is less interesting... <sad face>

I just found something connected to the university chemistry department...
Complicated! Red Bull have established a separate company, which owns almost all the shares and runs the 1st team, reserves and youth sides, but in apparent compliance with Bundesliga rules, which state that no individual or corporation can own more than 49% of a club, the overall club is run by an overarching organisation which is not controlled by Red Bull. This may appear something of a fudge. Traditionally German clubs give the members a big say in all decisions. This has been one of the strengths of German football, as opposed to England. In 2017 Bayern Munich had 290,000 voting members, Dortmund 154,000. RB Leipzig had 920 members, 17 of whom had voting rights.
That's a difficult one! Personally I think it's good that Saxony, in the old East Germany, finally has a top-flight team, but RB are generally disliked because their set-up contradicts the basic principles of the Bundesliga. I fear that some of the German Villans will boycott our game in Leipzig because they won't pay money to Red Bull. Bayern, on the other hand, are disliked because they keep on winning things. Their Munich stadium, the Allianz Arena, is nicknamed the Arroganz Arena. As I've said in H&V articles in the past, Villa picked up a lot of German supporters in 1982 when we beat the hugely unpopular West German champions, Bayern Munich, to win the European Cup.
I'd love, one day, for opposition fans to hate us because we win things on an 'all to regular' basis. What a 'problem' to have.
