Tony Xia milking it....it wouldn't surprise me if he thinks he has a sale and leaseback agreement with the new owners..

I don't think he was milking it. He was invited to attend by the current owners, he really hasn't claimed victory for this other than the comment he made right after which prompted that fat fuck Wyness to call him a fraud. I don't know that he has really said much more and I don't think he will.

He took over from Lerner when we needed someone to take over from Lerner. I can't remember the bloke at the time who told us how amazing Xia was as the sale was being finalized. He gambled across two years and our failure which I also put very much at Bruce's door nearly crippled us. But he sold us to two completely minted men who now have overseen the rejuvenation of the club. So for that I will say thanks and I hope now he continues to be a fan from a distance.

Have we got to the bottom of what’s going on with Xia yet? It’s obvious he either ran out of money or didn’t have the liquidity in what he does own to be able to finance us, and as he was in attendance I assume he still has a minority stake? With promotion will NSWE look to buy him out completely?

Sandylands Methodist Church, Kendal.

Damn - I drove past there last night on way home and missed it! Was pouring down with rain mind!
Hi cumbriavilla, did you go to Wembley or were you the other Villa fan in KCC with my son?
The flag is still there but has got caught up in the gutter at the moment.

As far as I am aware he still has a 45% stake. Which now we are promoted is probably worth more than he paid for the club.

Nope. He's a minority holder, which means he owns less than 25%.

They've diluted his shareholding further a number of times since.

This might be the best video I've seen yet on youtube of all the celebrations.....

Great stuff there. The fleeting shot of Bjarnason confirms that he's a right effing miseryguts.

Whatever his current shareholding, Xia is Vice Chairman at Villa.

Whatever his current shareholding, Xia is Vice Chairman at Villa.

He's a director but he's not needed for quorum and equally his share is so diluted now that he effectively has no voting rights, as he's not required for ordinary or special resolutions.

£35m was allotted on 15th May, diluting his stake further.

Edit: since the notice if cessation of significant control was filed with CH, they've allotted £55m in additional shares. So he had less than 25% in January and it will be far less now.

As great as Monday was & the celebrations afterwards, it was for me anyway, a little bit hollow. It's a disgrace that a club like ours, through pure mismanagement, got into such a mess & Monday was a correction of that.

I enjoyed the day, with the Mrs & Son, neither of whom had witnessed anything like it.

From the brink of oblivion we're back & with some professionals in charge.

I'm glad I had no idea that Xia was at Wembley until I saw him on repeats the day after the final or it would have taken some of the gloss off the day for me. "milking it" is definitely the phrase I'd use to describe his actions at Wembley. If he had any sense of shame, he'd never attend another Villa game. So he managed to find a buyer for us? only because he'd dragged us to the brink of oblivion and run out of cash.... I mean, he "couldn't transfer funds out of China due to new regulations".

The OS has him listed as Vice Chairman

Surely there will be a decent claim going into the EFL for health and safety negligence

that Trophy was a proper missile could have took jacks eye out,
no risk assessment, no protective hoist, absolute accident waiting to happen on a open stairwell
