Anyone else still got their flag(s) on display in the house...?
Yep, after having swapped one with Maidstone Villan I have one claret and one blue, both hanging down the fireplace, unfortunately obscuring the positive affirmation hypnobirthing pic so probably better move them. It’s still sinking in, love that my Dad has been still on a high too!

And as a consequence I have a complete set. I have to confess they are still rolled up in the boot of my car. But ready to be posted to Maidstonevillainjunior, to help spread joy in Plymouth.
I tried to fly my flags from the balcony in Morecambe yesterday but it immediately started to rain so they are now drying over the bath!
One is being taken back to Birmingham for my little nephew at the weekend. His non-football liking parents surprised me by paying £9 to get Sky sports for the day so he could see it. He video whatapped me as I made my way back down Wembley Way - I couldn’t hear a word he was saying but could see he was bouncing! He had confidently just informed his parents that Aston Villa have won the World Cup!
I think that you, of all people, are hiding your light under a bushel here a bit Rodders. I fully believe that those crumpets/pikelets that you made played a crucial role in our success!
The play-off final win was achieved without the appearance of an Orange Dot or Fish Pie
There was a lucky orange at the Green Man...
Spreading the joy!!

Sandylands Methodist Church, Kendal.
Damn - I drove past there last night on way home and missed it! Was pouring down with rain mind!

Follow the crumplet!
The crumpet is a false idol. Follow the pikelet!
Look a little more carefully. A crumplet is a cross between a crumpet and a pikelet.
Sounds pretty heretical to me.
Last Monday was a fabulous Villa match day with the family, from start to finish. We are all still basking in the glow of it. Currently enjoying the algarve sunshine having flown over Wednesday.
UTV and keep the lion's flag flying!

What nonsense is this. It’s one or the other and can never be both. Outrageous, I shall be writing a strongly worded letter to my MP.
What a great PR touch to have Deano AND Pursloe interviewed together. I'll bet there's never been such a 'we're on the same page' expression of reasoned ambition in football recent history. Almost brought tears to my eyes. Correction: it brought tears to my eyes. A hands on CEO - what next?
I keep singing Sweet Caroline and Hi Ho Aston Villa in the office. My colleague is called Caroline and she thinks I am being nice to her.
This might be the best video I've seen yet on youtube of all the celebrations.....
Tony Xia milking it....it wouldn't surprise me if he thinks he has a sale and leaseback agreement with the new owners..
