It's now 00.03 on Wednesday. I don't have work in the morning. Enough time has passed for me to enjoy Small Heath Alliance.wrong

Absolutely crying at this on the facebook page.

McGinn is on his brother's stag do, Mings is wandering around Bournemouth in his full kit and Jack is still celebrating. It would be a logistical nightmare to organise it anyway!
Mings is mental. Wears his heart on his sleeve etc...

I feel for Roos but why the fuck didn't he think he can stand there for the ball to drop into his arms with John McGinn around?

“We’re going to try and finish first. Twelve doesn’t wash with me”

I f**king love dean

Was just on the verge of posting the very same.

What a man.

A bit of a difference from "we want to be in the top 20 of the Deloitte money league".
So refreshing to listen to people that know what they are doing, the difference between this regime and everything going back to and including the Lerner era is huge.

I feel a bit weird.

I enjoyed winning and it was a great day out, but...after walking out of Wembley I didn't feel elated and I haven't at any point since.

I guess the only way to describe the feeling is more a wrong being righted than an achievement. Maybe it's all the pressure and thinking about results, permutations of others, the upcoming fixtures and all of that being lifted.

I get what you mean but imagine how we'd all be feeling if we hadn't achieved the result on Monday.

I feel a bit in limbo really and I think I will until the season starts.

The "Part of the Premier League" range at the Villa shop. "We are Premier League." Erm, no thanks!

Even though I can't get the "Stop crying Frank Lampard" song out of my head I don't care.

Who would have known that in hindsight losing the play off final last year would have actually been for the best. Who knows how long Dr T could have ducked and dived with the Premier League money only for it to go tits up sooner or later.

It's not for me. I imagine some will buy it to annoy fans of other, less-Premier Leaguey, local rivals.

I thought that was how I would feel, but I'm still absolutely on cloud 9.

I'm 51, seen us win the league and the big cup, but this feels every bit as good.

It's two things for me I think....the club I love had been ripped apart, with a poisonous attitude between fans and players/the club and that has been fixed in the most wonderful way so we can fully buy into this group and grow back to the top together.

The second one is far more personal, my lad who has only ever lived in the South East was bought up a Villa fan but never really bought into it will all his mates being Gooners etc., and he drifted that way.  The last 2-3 years (right at our low point) he has come back with a vengeance and properly loves it, reminds me of how I was about it at 18, and it was the first successful thing we have been able to properly enjoy and celebrate together.
