I saw a marvellous Villa shirt last night.

Finished our 5-a-side and wandered off to see a bloke with a green keeper shirt with 'Spink' on the back and nice padded elbows.....

Shouted Up the Villa and he laughed and said he was a Blade but that his mate had given it to him... Looked on the front and indeed there was a nice circular Claret and Blue Badge....

Anyway I had to keep moving and he was playing but I shall keep an eye out as it was a thing of beauty...

Blimey! Now that was worth missing the Villa game for. William Standing's loss.

Normally I only wear a Villa top for playing 5 aside in, but I am going to break my rule and wear it on the school run tomorrow morning.  Loads of Leicester fans and I'm going to strut in like a boss.

Do it. I don't miss being surrounded by them!

I see Le Coq Sportif have re-issued shirts for Lausanne in Switzerland to commemorate their Swiss Cup win back in the 80s. If they’re up for collaboration, we should be in their ear to get the 82 shirt remade for the 40th anniversary.

Ha not me! I do think, however, that our marketing brains should be looking into this kind of thing with the 40th anniversary in mind. Who knows, they may well be!

Because the one thing we need to do more of is market 1982. It's been flogged to death and beyond.

I got a couple of the Kappa face masks for my Dad and uncle back in September for the latter's birthday. A little pricey for what they are (same as the shirts really) and not as substantial as they look online. However they look smart IMO and my Dad finds his very comfortable to wear. Got a few positive (and negative) comments after the Liverpool game as well.

No Goalie kits for under 6s. 6 year old pay £50 for a shirt. Yes, you read it right. Not included in the current promotion either.

The main kit is bizarre. For a 5 year old, you can buy the full kit for less than you pay for a shirt for a 6 year old. Yet when you check the sizing options, the shirt size on both kits is identical.

It's a bloody disgrace!
