Can’t wait for the 3rd kit now. Will it be a full house of lovely looking kits?
Heard a rumour for grey!

I think the suggestion was it was a rather horrendous grey/white camouflage design, like something you’d wear to invade Finland.

Oh well, full house is well and truly fked then  ;D

Ordered mine already, it’s a beauty! I’m normally a large but went XL, was that the right thing to do?

Yes , if the sizes match the home. I’m usually a large , but visited the club shop, and definitely an Xl.

*this could also be due to being an idle sod in lockdown.

Been checking out the online shop. Some of this years gear aside from the kits is absolutely superb. The Kappa retro stuff especially. If Kappa, who must have listened, or changed personnel to improve design and production are going to make these kind of products I have no issue them sticking around. The last thing I want to see is a “me too” Adidas kit that every other team with Adidas has.

Stood in a queue at VP for the new away shirt as looked the best I've seen. Have to say the marketing images make it look a lot better than it does in the flesh.

Lots of people buying it buy I chose 2 t shirts for same price.

Shame as I loved it as it looked on line

It seems we have Premier League kits and gear again.

I do wonder if last year's was a reflection of not knowing where we'd be.

What didn't you like about it in the flesh, Hooky - the style or the quality?

Tbf I don't think these have been knocked up in the last 4 weeks.....and it isn't as if we we knew where we would be this year!

The feel was no where what I thought it would be after looking at the hi res images. There is a definite difference between the pro fit ones and regular ones. If you look at the images the shirt looks like it is textured, the pro one feels like it is the regular one feels like it is printed.

It might sound trivial but it could help if the stuff on show was ironed as that might make them look better.

Must admit though that the general quality of most items in store looks a lot better than previous

I went to the store yesterday to pick up a white and a light blue training top. Only sizes left are xxxl! Same with the black training top, no stock in medium. The assistant said go online but it's no better unless you want small or xxxl. Training tops are smart and good value at £32.00. No idea when new stock is arriving....

I’d like to think we’d planned for a larger than normal demand for gear on the back of our achievement in staying up. Then again...

Standard. We really, really need to get better at this stuff.

Can they not preview/launch the fucking kit and gear designs earlier in the year and put out expression of interest forms or a survey? Then use those figures as indicatives for stock orders.

We've got the coaches trying to use fucking xG as a performance metric and possibly as predictive, meanwhile it seems there is no effort to improve our retail estimates to optimize sales revenue.

I do retail sales forecasting and metrics for an airport, it's not like it's difficult to get this stuff right.

Sounds like there might be a vacancy for you. Ready to leave Dub for Brum?
