Why would they risk it?

Yeah, I get that.... But with him not being part of the kit launch, it broadcasts to the world that the club isn't 100% confident he's staying. I was quietly confident he was going nowhere this summer, but little things like this sew seeds of doubt into your head.

Also, it doesn't send out a very strong message to the clubs who are potentially after him? I'd have had him front and center, villa badge tattoed on his forehead, transfer or no transfer!  ;)

It's absolutely lovely even if the logos and badge are still too high. Nicest away kit for some time, really like the collar.

Two lovely kits this year, the training gear looks superb also. Hats off to Kappa I’d say.

Maybe they have reason not to be. Perhaps they've asked Jack to sit down and discuss a new deal and he's said no for the time being. In that scenario it's hardly the club's fault if they've thought better of putting him front and centre in kit launch photos.

The reality is the same as I've been saying all along, we won't know for sure if he's staying until the window closes. Images of the kit don't give me greater or lesser confidence either way, personally.

Everyone's waiting to see what happens, and if I were a betting man I'd say that includes Jack aswell.

Ordered mine already, it’s a beauty! I’m normally a large but went XL, was that the right thing to do?

Don't like the fact that Grealish is nowhere to be seen in this marketing material. As captain, he should be first in line surely?

Not everybody has a schoolgirl crush on Jack Grealish. Some of us prefer Super John McGinn.

Depends on your build. L is 22" across the chest, XL is a shade over 23". Appears to be a slimmish fit.

Remove her eye liner and she's a SJM double.

I thought it was navy rather than black, not as keen now but its still nice. The wording on the website mentions it being only the third black shirt we've had in the past decade as if that colour is a natural Villa colour.
