If a big name like Nike or Adidas had released our kits everyone on here would be saying how great they were.

I don't mind that at all. It's a third/change kit ffs, if it's not your style it's not the end of the world!

If it was plain it would be alright as a 3rd kit, that weird pattern makes it look crap imo. May look better in person though.

Yeah, you won't notice the pattern unless you are up close. I don't reckon the pattern is bad anyway.

I think it's fine, a 3rd kit that's plain is, in my opinion, pretty shit. It'll get worn once or twice at most so might as well make it something completely different, if for no other reason because it means your home and 2nd kits can stay fairly traditional without it becoming boring, anyone who wants something new gets it from the 3rd strip.

I don’t think they would. The kits are dreadful. Piss poor designs and really badly made.  I don’t think Adidas would make anything that shite though. Kappa are a crap brand and they’ve made crap kits.

Looks brilliant.

Yep I like it too. Some will, some won’t.
I’ll have to see how the home shirt lasts, but I too think there’s an over reaction.
I also like the warm up stripey shirt, was quite close to getting that over the home.
I dislike sponsors vehemently, betting companies especially, but am glad at least logos colour coordinate.

In terms of design, they are a bit shit, although the away one much less so than home.

At the match yesterday, seeing people wearing them, i noticed how shittily made they seem to be - the shoulder seam looked fucked on most of the ones I saw,.

Oh, and the, err, tighter-than-usual fit resulted in a few people wearing them who really shouldn't have been (and i say that as a podgy bastard myself).

I am never going to get overly vexed by shirt designs, but for the price they charge, you would at least expect some degree of quality control. Those photos posted on here showing the badge stitching were absolutely shockingly poor.

I was actually surprised at how good the Kappa replica and training kits looked at the game given how much criticism they’ve received on here. A friend was wearing the elite without the sponsor logo...it looked good with no manufacturing defects. May be some of the batches have inconsistencies, and there’s nothing you can do about ppl buying and keeping a wrong size shirt.

I imagine Luke was dropped more because of Kappa's £££s. The product was top class.

I was told by someone who is fairly well connected that the profits from the Luke gear was split between the club and Luke, rather than Luke paying up front to manufacture our kits. This was not conducive with us complying with FFP hence why we needed a kit deal that raised some significant cash (similar to selling the ground). I was also told that originally Luke had a 2 year deal, so maybe he’ll be back in the near future.

Agree quality is shite, on my lads 'snagged' 1st day of wearing.  Credit to shop though, after phoning up they will replace foc and we get to keep snagged one
just shows what a fkn rip-off they are in the first place if they can afford to replace dodgy quality / sized ones foc and probably still make a decent profit. Kappa gear is shit. Saw both the arsenal and Liverpool tops in the flesh today and quality of both, look very good.

A chap on Reddit has managed to source pictures of our third kit.
*Snip*
If that’s true then it looks like a Charles Rennie Mackintosh design.
There is a big wine producer called Lafage down our end. They do a 'Cuvée Charles Rennie Mackintosh' wine. I swear that they have copied the label after drinking six bottles of the stuff.

How about making the shirts the right size in the first place?  Every single manufacturer in the last 20 years has managed it, even shite like Macron.

When I went in the club shop on Saturday they didn't have anything bigger than XL in stock not good and this was about 11:00 o clock in the morning you would have thought they would get this sorted out in the club shop regarding having stock on site we had the same thing last season.
