So, this is from a trusted account on Twitter (who many of you are no doubt following)

'Just spoken to customer services at Kitbag. Kappa have had to initiate a full kit recall on all stock of the away kit. Kitbag issuing full refunds & no need to return faulty kit. Kappa apparently produced the badges, not Fanatics. Kappa have had a mare. @Villa_Trust FYI'

That's a shame. Will be sticking with my Luke shirt. Top notch, shame he isn't doing this year's kits.
Didn’t the Luke kits have a rubber embossed badge rather than embroidered?

It was embroidered but the lion and the star, and also the AVFC, were rubber. It is really high quality stuff. I wasn't sure about it but it is better than an all embroidered badge imo.

Kind of wish I had got the away shirt. We'll never see them again I fear.

eBay, mate. Though some of the money the greedy fuckers on there are asking is ridiculous.

Cheers, didn't see this at the time. Yeah I read on here that it was pricey on there. I'm hoping that CFS will make some available for a reasonable price.

Thanks Drummond.  The Villa shop replied to a tweet of mine on Friday asking me to DM them, but haven't heard back yet.  I wonder if that will apply to orders from the club shop as well?

I put this year's away kit next to last year's Luke kit, and the difference in quality is like night and day.

I can’t fault the kit designs but supply and quality once again appear to be amateurish at best.

Friend of mine had the new shirt on at the Weekend, absolute poor quality imo for the price of it. Hopefully ditch them off after this season.

Let's get Luke back or Adidas

or maybe Nike - Their training gear , in particular the purple tops, were great quality

Of all the Nike ones I had, the best one was the last one we got with the check pattern. The quality was just OK with those. The recent Nike stuff is pretty good. I'm not just talking shit here but the Luke shirt is better quality than most of the shirts I have and I have a lot of them.

I'd probably go for Nike as the next supplier but only because of their training wear. The hoodies and jackets they do are really nice.

Personally I really like Puma kits, the Man City kits this year are very good and the Dortmund kit is fantastic.

Puma would be fine with me.

Was the decision to change from Luke to Kappa purely a financial one? I was expecting the Luke deal to be at least 2-3 seasons rather than just last season.

Bring back Luke.

Moore had so much natural talent but was never much into football and the hunger gradually eroded.

Pre match training top...

Some of the players were shown wearing this warming up at Spurs during the Purslow interview clips on SSN. Looks really good.
