I think that exceeds the maximum size allowed in England. If you were allowed sponsors that size, everyone would be plastered in them and look like Formula One teams like they do in France.

Reckon it's a wacky, "hilarious", Paddy Power wind up and the new shirt will be revealed soon.

Yes, you are probably right.
That is so bad that the HT fans will be overjoyed with anything but that, regardless of how shit it is.

Yeah it looks like lad bible bait.

As an aside, does anyone find all this lads, lads, lads *prank* stuff that ALL betting companies now engage in very unfunny and a bit sad?

If that truly is their new kit, I despair for what football has become.

Has to be a joke though, surely.

Must be a prank to generate more publicity...and it seems to be working.

Yeah, if its a joke then it's pretty well played.

Their announcement video is pretty funny too.  Not sure I'd be happy if I was a Huddersfield fan though..

it is funny and pretty honest,  quite refreshing from the usual marketing speak on synergies and bollocks like that

Of course it's not legit! For one the rules prohibit it, 2. It's Paddy Power, 3. Huddersfield Town have more class than that.

15:30 today our time.

Has this been confirmed? I am looking forward to it and I think it will be far superior to the home shirt. Are we getting the third kit today as well?

This via Pravda:

"In other news, our away kit will also be revealed at 4pm today across our social channels and simultaneously at our Lions Club Fan Zone in Minnesota!

Also available now is our goalkeeper kit and training range, which have both proved very popular with supporters.

Our third kit will be available next month."

Why do we call the website Pravda.  Yes I'm aware of the Russian news agency.  Is that it, is that the joke?

Son's have just called heading back from the club shop. Pretty busy but limited training wear available. Player version of the shirt has the rubber badge but fan version is sown on version. Sizes on the small size apparently so be generous...

For me it harkens back to the Deadly Doug era and should be filed next to "ITSOTP" as a relic from a time before camera phones and real-time news updates which was inevitably ruled by misinformation (the irony). Back when most people's best guess regarding acquisitions in any given transfer window was the endless speculation about Benni McCarthy (who is definitely down the Belfry meeting with any of several Villa managers as we speak).

But, I could be wrong. It could be much older and the reasons much smarter than I'm giving us credit for...

Via the aforementioned Pravda. For anyone who's concerned the blue is too pale, I have been reassured by the Official Site's description of the shirt as "vista blue"...............
