I'm sure I read that we couldn't have the star above the badge unless playing in the EC. So they incorporated it into the badge to get around this.

The Tunisia Kappa shirt has the same rucked look around the join at the shoulder and sleeve that looks badly made but seems to be a design feature. Hey ho.

If you join the claret membership you get a pin badge that is round using the current Lion, something along those lines would be great, and ditch the star.

The Lion emblem looks good in my opinion, and now that it's plastered everywhere Villa related I'd say it's here to stay.
funny you mention pin badges- I’ve got one which I wear on my jacket (it’s winter in aus) it’s the round one, but reverse colours to the 80’s one. Bought it the last season we were in D2 from the badge man in Trinity Rd. It’s my lucky talisman.

That is correct. It's a Premier League rule.

Forest are fucked then if they ever get promoted - they've got two above their badge!

Haven't Man. City got them too? Not that they've ever won anything in Europe, obvs.

Not any more, and their stars didn't represent any trophy wins.

I've looked it up now, it's pretty lame. I won't say in case others want to guess.

I read the other day that Forest Green have three stars, two of which are greyed out. They are for their promotion to League Two and the promotions to League One and The Championship that they hope to achieve one day.

I think we should have a thousand stars above our badge for all the European Cups we might win.😏

All those vegetables have clearly sent them mad.

Huddersfield have three stars above their badge on the kit but it’s incorporated in the middle of their official club crest.

For their three European Cup wins, obviously
