I thought I'd seen the same about it incuding the semi final.

When I tried to find it again there is a link from the online FAQ which says it takes you to the criteria; however it takes you to last years' criteria which does state it includes the PL semi finals.

Can't see anything about it including the semi final for this year now I'm looking again.

Daft question, but has anyone tried buying tickets before they are eligible? Went on tonight just to see what I was doing when they do become available. It lets me select seats but when I hit basket it greys them out and says this event is not currently available for sale. (Not that you don’t meet criteria) was just having a practice run but would have expected the problems when I try to assign them to family and friends on the next page

Yes. Says event is no longer for sale, and won't let you complete transaction.
Ok cool thanks wasn’t sure if I  was doing something wrong. Apart from trying to buy tickets I’m not eligible for obvs
Ive been doing the same thing. Just as a practice run. And also in the hope I might catch the system out in the event there is a glitch.

Still have no confirmation email from last night. I made a note of the number and took a screenshot just in case!!

I know I've said it before, but check your spam. Just booked mine, and got the email confirmation almost straight away. And as if to prove a point, it went straight to spam.

Perfect, thanks mate, it was in Spam! I didn't even think of looking there as I've has loads of email confirmations in the past from Villa.

Cheers.

I haven't read all this thread but would someone be kind enough to let me know what the kick-off time is, if it has been decided.  Thanks.

Make of Twitter what you will, but someone claims the ticket office told them that just under 20k have been sold so far and that each eligibility criteria has its own allocation of tickets.

No more blocks became available at 5pm

Looks like block 533 and 238 (middle tier) have just been released.

Well that's a tad annoying. I wanted seats in the middle tier/blocks 232-239 but when I went on earlier to buy my tickets it said all those blocks were sold out. Happy enough with what I got but would have preferred middle tier. If they'd said block not yet released rather than sold out I'd have held fire.

I say the same every time we get there.
Sometimes it’s better to risk waiting till after the initial rush to get tickets when the rest of the good blocks become available.
Of course, as usual, I panicked and bought any old shit*  last night after I eventually got on after waiting over an hour.

*Any old shit isnt actually true, but 3 of us are in the upper tier when we’d hoped to be in the middle, but of course there were none available last night.

Did it get to general sale last year? We’ve got a group of us going and a lad who’s got a season ticket next season has only got 4 games on his reference this year. No sob story as there has to be cut off points

Absolutely!!! Had to choose to make sure I got tickets in a second choice area rather than gamble that areas ‘sold out’ were just being held back! Same happened last year..

I got on at about 5.30 last night and the only middle blocks on sale were 235,236,237 & all had single seats only.  I was then lucky and managed to get 3 together in 235 after somebody released them.  I've looked within the last hour and odd seats are popping up in 238 which suggests that it has been on sale this evening and people are releasing seats after deciding to sit somewhere else.

Disappointed with the Villa ticket office if they stated earlier that no more blocks were available.
