Axel should be available after being back in training this week and Hause should be fit for Norwich, so hopefully we’ll have our strongest CB options available in the playoffs. No harm giving Cheater and Elphick some game time against Norwich.
Leeds 3/4 and Villa 10/3 given current form is quite remarkable.
I think they are basing this on who needs to win most or all the northern high rollers are piling their money on Leeds.
2-1 Villa, couldn't possibly think of it any other way, 11, providing we don't risk anything or anybody, Jack of at half time, that sort of thing, make sure all our brilliant starlets are ready for the games coming up.....
2-1 us. Come to Japan, Aftab, mate. I'm waiting with tours of various dens of iniquities.
Now then Nik here is the deal. If we go on to win at Wembley I will fly over to pay homage to Roppongi and the goddesses of Private Eye Club
Roppongi brings back memories of a few big nights out during the 2002 World Cup.

I have the time and I’m happy to carry your baggage.
Rule number 1 : this is Aston Villa, we try to win every game. Not always been the case recently but under the new management this is the way forward.
Rule number 2 : play the strongest available team. However there is no point in taking unnecessary risks.
Therefore : Steer, Elmo, Elphick, Tuanzebe, Taylor, Bjarnason, Hourihane, Lansbury, Green, Kodjia, El Ghazi
Radical or what ?

Absolutely. The more the merrier.
I don't think it's in Dean Smith's nature to relax and not bother attempting to win a game. Therefore, whilst I think he will make changes, he will put out a decent side, good enough to be very competitive. I reckon the likes of Green, Davis, Lansbury will defo start. If it's possible to finish 4th and get the top Midlands slot for the Championship, Smith will try for it.
I’d give the spine of the team no more than 45 minutes, in each of the final two games.
The spine, I consider being, Mings, Grealish, Mcginn and Abraham.
Obviously, Tammy will be recuperating anyway.
I like Chester, but I hope he’s nowhere near our defence in the playoffs, unlesss it’s absolutely necessary.
Wise words. Right now, everybody has us as favourites to go up. Why change? Yes, we have the best squad but let's continue to show why we are the team everybody fears us. Onwards and upwards. Point after point. Leeds fall apart second half (too many games, too few players). Why give them space to recover? FTF!
It’ll be nice to watch the game on Sunday with a certain relaxedness (?) rather than the gut wrenching, arse clenching nerves that have accompanied the last 6 or 7 games.
That’ll all start again in a couple of weeks time.
It would be no shame at all to lose to an excellent Leeds side. When we played earlier in the season I was impressed and I suppose they are right up there for a reason.
In previous managerial eras I would have worried that the eleventh game after a ten game winning sequence might prove to be a slip but Villa are a different prospect now.
A tough game I reckon but one we can win. As always, so long as we give a decent account of ourselves I will be happy.
1-3 to the Villa.
if we keep a clean sheet and do the professional job we know they can now provide, we will win...0-2 to the Villa

I just have this feeling we won't win this one. Draw seems most likely to me.
