Bielsa's definitely playing mind games now. http://www.espn.co.uk/football/english-league-championship/story/3841899/bielsa-to-pay-leeds-fine-for-failing-to-control-players-in-villa-controversy

I personally hope we don't have to play them again if we make the Final, I've no interest in experiencing all the shithousery again. Here's hoping Derby or Boro or stuff them in the semis.

Not fussed about a stuffing. Part of me would be happier with them nicking it undeservedly in the eighth minute of six minutes of stoppage time with an offside handball.

Seems like very few tickets left for next Sat. Mine's up in the gods with a restricted view and I logged in about two minutes after 5.

It will be unsold out again, albeit briefly, when the unsold season ticket places go on sale.

My only criteria for being able to buy a ticket stright away was that I took out 'Claret Membership' a while back.

Yep I did that as well with the specific thought it would give me priority in these scenarios over people with just booking history. £10 well spent.

5 o'clock Sunday, there'll be a couple of thousand up for grabs in the UT.

And did you actually get any sort of priority in the ticketing sale over booking references?

That's crazy.  I did wonder if that would work, seems a ridiculous way to be able to jump the queue.

I had to give up on trying to get through on the phone, our bruvver went to the ticket office on his way home instead. He said the staff in there said they've spent most of their time today doling out paper tickets to ST holders who couldn't get the game to load onto their card.

Yep, I normally get priority as a Claret Member for Home and away tickets as well but only after away scheme members and season ticket holders. On Thursday when Season ticket holders were able to purchase their own seats, Claret members could purchase their tickets as well. I know Claret Memberships closed a couple of months ago but unsure if you had to have a booking history to be a Claret member.

What a shambles.  Was eligible last night, but couldn't get the option online to buy one.  Tried numerous times on the phone today only to be cut off every time after waiting half an hour.  Tried customer services only to be told that "they don't deal with that, you'll have to speak to the ticket office".  Going down today was a no-no due to work and wasn't able to get one of the remaining few on another login tonight.

For normal home games, tickets actually go on sale to claret members before season ticket holders - on the basis that season ticket holders already have their own ticket, and claret members have the next highest priority.

I have noticed in the last couple of months that if I have wanted to get tickets for friends, there is virtually nothing left in The Holte after season tickets and claret members. I think the number of claret members, or at least the number of ACTIVE claret members has risen significantly recently.

Villa Cash card gave the same kind of thing years ago. Pretty much every club gives second priority to members of their club schemes and like us has done for years.

What was it like last year? I wouldn't have experienced it as we couldn't be arsed to move, and just took our usual ST seats in L9. But my brother's lad has been coming with us the last half a dozen or so games, and there's no seats available near us, so we've been having to move to stay together, which hasn't been too difficult with the UT being open, and us having two seats to always reclaim up there anyway. But for this game it's been time-consuming and beyond frustrating. I feel for anyone who misses out through no fault of their own. If the club want us to use the online service, they should make sure it works.

I've never had any issues buying online and always find it really straight forward to get tickets. Experienced a minor issue with blocks not opening up on the stadium map yesterday but I presume it was either my laptop playing up or because of volume of website traffic...a simple refresh resolved that and was able to buy a ticket in UT with no more issues.
