For all 'intents and purposes' today's match is a dead rubber. It is now all about the play offs. Robbo and Lastfootstamper make great points and there is a good argument for keeping momentum.

On the Leeds message boards it has not gone unnoticed that our impressive recent form coincides with the return of Jack. No doubt Leeds have also identified our other main areas of strength.

It might be totally unfair and unjust to pick on Leeds but what club would not like to gain an advantage on potential future opponents in a play off situation. I fear Leeds will rest their stronger players for today's match and send others out on a mission. I am not suggesting there will be 'two footed challenges' flying around the park but there are more subtle ways to give an opponent a niggly injury.

The injury and booking count today is more important than the scoreline. With the play offs in mind, I would give our fringe players some game time and a chance to impress.

In Dean Smith we trust and he knows a lot more about football than me. Whatever team he selects we know will have been well thought out.

Expect Leeds to get at least a point at Ipswich next week which means Villa v Albion with the home leg at home first on Saturday 11th.
I hope we are the late kick off game.

If we lose to smethwick in the play offs I think I will buy a one way ticket to Mongolia, that's how much it would crucify me. Anyone know anything about Mongolia just in case.

The last Grand Tour episode was from there. They said it's the least populated place on earth for the amount of land space it has. I'm sure houses are cheap.

Can we get back any of the £25m worth of strikers we have out on loan?

In fairness they let the 8pm Friday night kick off go ahead this season.

The 4th/5th playoff first leg is the later game on the Saturday. Guessing it would take exceptional circumstances for it to be changed. This isn't it.

As far as I am aware, nothing has yet been confirmed.

It can’t be as Albion could mathematically still get third and sixth place isn’t decided.

It also says (On the EFL site) any decision about fixtures is made after the season finishes - the decision is made between the EFL and the police.
