1 point should makes us safe?
Derby + Bristol have 42 games

The most any 2 of the 3 below us can both get is 76 points (DC & BC playing each other), so with our way superior goal diff then you're right, one point pretty much guarantees it :D

They can both get another 2 points today as it's an 'as it stands' table.

My eyes have seen the glory of the Villa win ten games.
As soon as Dean Smith came in we never looked the same.
We are the boys in Claret and Blue we are the chosen few
And the Villa go marching on,
Glory glory Aston Viilla,
Glory glory Aston Villa,
Glory glory Aston Villa
And the Villa go marching ON ON ON...

By my reckoning if both Boro and Derby fail to win we're guaranteed top 6.

10 in a row is unreal. Drink it in because it will probably never happen again in any of our lives.

I think it's good that we're creating lots of chances but not quite taking them all yet. We're saving a hammering for Albion in the play offs hopefully.

Thought the atmosphere was disappointing and very flat considering we were about to win ten in a row. It's almost like we've forgotten how to create a good atmosphere at home games.

10 in a row and Bristol 1 down - fantastic. Thought this would be a tricky one, but seemed pretty controlled. Well done Kodj.

As it stands only Bristol City can catch us and that would be on goal difference.

Our game management since he joined with the possible exceptions of Leeds and Forest has been exemplary this season.  The last four minutes of injury time was played out by their corner flag.

Our defending is practically unrecognisable from those two games. King Mings is a big part of that.

I was basing that on the as-it-was table on the BBC Sport site, so hopefully we're still game on worse-case to need one more point.   Even more hopefully, today's results make that irrelevant!

Bristol are getting battered, so it could be all over by the end of today... I expect them to get 2 late goals now!
