Their fans and ex players still whingeing on about the penalty decision. Get over it! All the moaning in the world won't change the result! On another day it could've been 6-1 - only their keeper kept the score respectable, plus some glaring misses from our players.

John Ateyo,  England international, struggling after that.  Didn't one or both of the Mabbuts play for them?  Just checked Wiki and it says Mabbut was signed from Bristol Rovers, his brother Kevin played for Bristol City.

Still bleating about us on their forum. They've finally got around to talking about the Brummie accent as they've run out of things to be bitter about.

A pleasant diversion anyway.
Brummie accent? I hope they know this is the language of Shakespeare.

I think people from Bristol should be quiet when it comes to mocking other peoples accents.

Lot of potentially good players there. Shame their careers all peaked at Ashton Gate.

I think there is some suggestion that English as spoken in Gornal is reminiscent of Elizabethan English (in both cases English is in parentheses). Obviously, Gornal is not actually in Birmingham but most people hilariously imitating a Birmingham accent are actually closer to Black Country anyway.

I was born in Aston.  Fentham Road.  How dare they suggest I/we are not made from God's own accent?

I've never known a set of supporters like them. Even that lot in Smethwick have usually slowed down by now but three days in and they're still on about us.

Christ they're embarrassing. They've deluded themselves into thinking they should have won. With one shot on goal and conceding two.

They're absolutely off their fucking box.

Their ground's better than ours as well. And Bristol is the new Barcelona.

Is there another version of the highlights where they dominated possession, created loads of chances and peppered our goal with shots? :o

The penalty was soft but we've all seen blatantly worse decisions than that, and Weimann was offside for their disallowed goal so correct decision.
