He isn't having a go at us over it, he's saying he'd like them to look into doing the same as it does give an advantage.

And should we win on Friday, these can bask in the knowledge that they've once again been involved in us winning nine on the bounce.

I don't know why, but they're bringing out SE/Gascoigne levels of annoyance in me.

I didn't think his comments were unreasonable either. And as PeterWithesShin said, he was basically saying he thought sticking the away fans in the corner to give a better home advantage was a good idea, and he would look into it for Bristol C.

From where I sit in the Lower Holte I thought it was a nailed on penalty but it does look a bit soft on the highlights. Their fans are a strange bunch I was stood behind a group of them in the queue for the train they were basically saying they should have won because they had 51% possession completely ignoring the fact we had 11 shots on target to their 1.

When I’ve come across Bristol City fans on my travels I have found them in the main to be fine, just harmless bumpkins with a strange inferiority complex toward, of all people, Cardiff. Maybe bringing more than a few hundred slack jawed, straw chewing simpletons on an away trip has given them delusions of grandeur?

I’d imagine that if we were looking for opinions on what a 40k+ crowd should sound like, they wouldn’t be near the top of the list.

Yes however two things will stop most lower tier clubs from doing that. Size of the ground and need to maximise revenue. Also in PL most grounds tend to hide away fans and bigger the ground further away the opposition fans are. Look at OT and Sports Direct stadiums. At Villa PArk I would move them from the lower DE and just confine them to upper section.

Maybe it's the effects of this division, maybe I'm still a bit drunk, but I thought Diedhiou looked decent. O'Leary is only a kid in 'keeper terms, but if yesterday was anything to go by, one to watch in the future. And did anyone else think that that Kasey Palmer, the 45, did a pretty damn fine impression of Adama Traore while he was on?

Best Bristol player yesterday was imo Jay Da Silva, their LB. He hit in two brilliant crosses for the Taylor free header and Weimann offside.

Wouldn't mind him here next season, thought DS had signed him for Brentford but that's another Da Silva.

As for the game, a fantastic win in the circumstances. Without two key players and playing a very in form rival, we need this type of win to give confidence in the play offs and also show we can win without Jack.

Thought first half was pretty tight. We had a few long range shots but in general play I thought Bristol moved it around quicker. The Weimann offside was very marginal, not sure that was off at all although impossible to tell really when you just have one camera angle to go off.

Second half we were much better and could easily have scored 5.

Definitely half a yard offside, I was perfectly in line with it in B1

I don’t think it’s been mentioned yet but the ref had a good game. Gave a lot of decisions in our favour, the pen for instance. In fact the only thing he got wrong was the 6 mins added time not that it mattered.

I thought the Sheff Wed fans were bitter, but these Bristol types really take the biscuit.

No atmosphere, shithole ground, shithole city and arrogant fans.

Hysterical.
