Always impressed by Davis’ ability to hold the ball up and find a pass to a teammate. Seen a lot of forwards with more experience struggle with similar link up play. Makes it very easy for the midfield to then run on.

I agree. Davis was like a battering ram. Very impressive and looked sharp.


If the goals follow, he will be a really good player.

Looked like it to me, but then there was only a brief replay on AVTV.  The dodgier one was the offside for their goal.
