With all the injuries and suspensions and illnesses we worked our bollocks off to get that win. Whelan MOM

El Ghazi surely?

He was superb all match, probably the best game he's had.

Agreed.

When I saw the line up with no Jack I was concerned but we did, a team performance got us those three points.

Get in you Villa Boys!

Great win as it keeps us ahead of the chasing pack and now nullifies the game in hand for Bristol City.  So many key players out too, Mings, Hause, Jack, Chester, Tommy, Kalinic.  I look forward to the extended highlights.

Amazing result...and 8 wins on the bounce!

No one expected that lineup, so to get the win against the team challenging us with some of our best players out is simply outstanding. Well done to every single player out there today...awesome job!

Wem-ber-ley, Wem-ber-ley...we'll be all pissed up and we're going to Wem-ber-ley...AGAIN!!!

Well, that much more tense than it should have been.  If not for their keeper we'd have been out of sight.

Their keeper was lucky in that almost everything we did was straight at him. Poor finishing from us rather than a great game from him. Speaking of keeps, did Jed Steer actually make a save today?

In part I think it's because we are into that winning ways momentum, very difficult to knock a team out of that, hard to play against as BC found today.
