It's about time we thrashed United. Millmoor should be buzzing tomorrow night. I usually park at the scrapyard next dood and get away with it due to the state of my van.

A few stats ahead of the game, courtesy of the beeb

Rotherham United have lost their past five matches against Aston Villa without finding the net in any of those games.

Aston Villa have not lost away at Rotherham United since the first leg of the League Cup final in August 1961 (W3 D1 L0 since).

Since his first league match in charge on October 20th, only Norwich City (67) have scored more Championship goals than Dean Smith's Aston Villa (53).

I assume they're not in the bottom 3 by accident. I expect us to dispatch them accordingly.

I'm expecting it to be another tough game just like Saturday where Wednesday were battling to save their season, Rotherham are desperate to survive. Wednesday, whilst putting us under lots of pressure created few chances, I see Rotherham doing the same. Fortunately we now have a defence that can defend, our midfield have been excellent though I expect Whelan to be rested. Other than that, I imagine it will be the same side as Saturday. Maybe Uncle Albert to come in and help out down the flanks which is where they are said to be strong.

I'm going for a 3-1 Villa win confident in the knowledge that I've predicted the last few games correctly within a (Villa) goal.

We should have too much for them but it's going to be tough. I'll go a tight 1-2 win.

I should hope they haven't beaten us since God's dog was a pup - they're fucking Rotherham.

After beating a lot of our playoff rivals in recent weeks, we need to approach Rotherham as though they are playoff rivals: focussed, disciplined, determined and prepared to play with the right attitude to the last minute. 7 out of 7 would be brilliant ahead of Saturday's game against Bristol. This could be a defining week in consolidating our position in the playoffs. 3 points please Villa. UTV!

No easy games, and we need to make sure it isnt another Reading.

They will come at us and I expect a very bitty game and need to be careful that they dont do to us, what we did to SheffWed

I'll take a 1 nil.

I believe so.

Just checked, it is. The Rags are on the main channel against Sheff Utd.

Got a bit of a nagging feeling about this one, simply because I thought we started to look a bit tired at times in the second half on Saturday (even though we scored the two late goals).  They are a physical side, so the thought of Hourihane replacing Whelan in central midfield concerns me a bit.

1-4 Villa. We go 0-3 up, minor mistake allows them a goal, then we put them down. UTV. Tammy 2, Adomah & McGinn.
