I've just figured out why Carlton Palmer is such a Bruce sympathiser. I assumed it was simply because he once played for them. Could also be because his Bruce is playing his son at left back.

Anyway, enough about the useless potato. Come on Villa!

I've just gone to AVTV from my abode in France (cough) as opposed to my Manor House in the Shire. It's saying that I still need to cough up some cash if I want to watch internationally. Anyone who knows different welcome to put me right?

I use a paid vpn 24/7 (private internet access) but as I'm in the US I don't really need it for AVTV. There are free vpn's out there, either as a stand-alone app or as a browser add-on. You basically install the app/add-on and select which country's ip address you want to use. Once it has connected to the UK, you go to AVTV and hopefully have full access. You can use https://www.dnsleaktest.com/ to confirm your vpn location. A decent guide is https://www.pcmag.com/roundup/285788/the-best-free-vpn-services
