Time to ditch Allez Allez at the end of this season. Everyone else is singing it.

I notice that both our vowel-loving cousins from north-west of Birmingham are singing it. The trouble is that most of our lot have just learned all the words (I am not a regular at our matches so it's really none of my business) . Didn't we rob it from Liverpool anyway? I guess it doesn't matter in the scheme of things.

There was a bloke standing in front of me away at Brentford who'd saved the words onto his phone . I suppose there's nothing wrong with that, but there sort of is a bit.

I’m not one  to criticise really.  I still don’t know the words to the John McGinn song

Liverpool started their version last year, it's been sung by loads of Italian clubs as well as other clubs around Europe for years.

Some French people too, I'd imagine.

And for anyone sad enough to be interested, Porto picked up on it. And after the below video so did clubs in Germany. And eventually Liverpool.

Is that Kajagoogoo? The sax player from UB40 is a Villa fan; we could get him in to conduct the Holte. At least it isn't achy breaky heart, which is now used for the John McGinn song. Just don't think you understand.

Biggest disappointment of spending so many years down here in the Championship, our songs are still shit.

They're a lot better than they were. I remember at one stage 90% of our songs were telling our players that there was only one of them. The absolute nadir was "there's only one Steve Davis".

FFS.

Yeah there definitely seems to be a better repertoire of songs this season.

We just need a song for Deano now!

Villa, we are Villa
Aston Villa

Great forum, the halcyon days of the god-like 'Admin' were a thing to behold.
