Just for the record, should we be promoted, anybody that sings "We are Premier League" should have a lifetime ban or a five year season ticket to the Sty.

Don’t deny the Villa, we’re gonna go up
Don’t deny the Villa , we’re gonna go up
Gonna go up, we’re gonna go up etc...

To the tune of passengers by Elton John. Go on make it happen, I’m far to shy to try.

Much as I detest Manchester United, I like the "Ole's at the wheel" song to the Stone Roses track (Waterfall). When there's thousands of them all singing it, it sounds pretty good.

We should change the words and nick that too.

Nah! Got to be the opening lines to hello hello, I'm back again by that Gary Glitter bloke.

Actually, no, maybe not.

And then claim it as our own. Always look on..

Deano's at the wheel
Tell me how good does it feel?
We've got Tammy, Jack Grealish, and Mings,
Whelan and Super John McGinn,
Du, du, du du, du, du, du du du
The Greatest of English football,
We've won it all
Du, du, du du, du, du, du du du

Had to finish it off

I've loved that album for years, except that track, I can't stand it.

So it's no from me.

She wore,
she wore,
she wore a claret ribbon,
She wore it for the Villa, in the merry month of May,
And when I asked, her why she wore that ribbon,
She said it's for the Villa, coz we're going to some place in north west London!!
Some place in north west London!! Some place in north west London!!
We're the famous Aston Villa and we're going to some place in north west London!!

Kinda catcha, what?

There was a song doing the rounds for John McGinn based on Manfredd Mann’s The Mighty Quinn
