Having a scan tomorrow but Smith didn't seem to think it was much to worry about.

For me Andre Green is playing to his level. I'm glad he's getting a run of games and he's made an impact but this is probably close to what his potential is. He's not particularly quick, he doesn't really have that burst of speed, he doesn't have a trick. He'll do ok vs Championship defenders but he won't make it in the PL. Solid squad player, good lad, but that's it. But, if we go he will have played his part so I'm glad he came back to help out, but long term I think he'll carve out a decent lower division career.
We have to stop doing this with our young players. Far too early to be judging a young players potential when he hasnt even had a full season yet. The Premier League is littered with players we called shit and will never make the grade and moved on too quickly. Let our youngsters grow into their role. Green has many attributes and in time may well become a real homegrown star. For now he is learning his trade and we should expect some good stuff from him and some meh from time to time.

I never called him shit. Not even close.
No. I know you havnt called him shit, but you have declared he will not make it in the Premier League and you may even be correct but dont you think it is a bit early in his career to dismiss him. You are not the only one. Many on here are quick to state this player wont make the grade and that player will never be good enough for Villa. I just wish we could all hold off on rushing to judge our young players. It takes time for them to make the step up from U-23 to senior mens football. they are up against seasoned pro's who know how to turn them down blind alleyways and maneuver them off the ball. It took jack a couple of goes before he learned the art.

I love the highlights. Villa chance after Villa chance and not one from Boro. Another set of fans he has turned off his style.

Lambert would be proud of that. Nothing wrong Tone you keep hoofing it and no doubt you will finish the season where you deserve about 10th. I am afraid another man well past his coaching  sell by date.

What the fuck is a 'non-league goal'. Three goals from open attacking play and he thinks he was unlucky? And of the 18 shots we had, a mere 5 were on target resulting in 3 goals. Maybe the 40 goals his team have scored in 37 games were all 'league' goals - from set pieces or long throws to a giant striker no doubt.  Delusional doesn't begin to describe him

I wanted to see their one chance of a free header when we apparently switched off to see how close it was.

He's on about their defending being shit. Fuck knows how he thinks having 1 shot on target in a game will lead to anything but a defeat though.

For a truer picture see a Boro fan's comments on You Tube ,'The Final Whistle'.
Summed up their performance as 'Crap' and suggested that Pulis ' after match comments would be along the lines of 'we played well'
Our first 2 goals were a result of quick incisive passing and certainly not 'non league goals'.Dean Smith was right in saying that his only gripe was that we didn't score more goals.
We have been treated to some bizarre after match comments in our recent history but only the likes of Goebbels and Pravda, the original one, could have matched Pulis' assessment.

If we had bagged 5 or 6 it wouldn’t have flattered us.

Non-league goals... It's original, I'll give him that. I wonder if our stuart would agree with him.

He's saying that Boro's defending was non league. He was very complimentary about us post-match.
