McGinn fired up after being dropped, superb. Kudos to Smith, team looked really well drilled tonight. Everyone did well, Abraham didn't have the greatest second half maybe but Smith hooked him.Agree w all that

Lovely play from Lolley for their goal. I'd love to see him, Jack and SJM in the same side. After their rather lucky goal, again, I honestly can't remember Steer having a proper save to make. We had a couple of hairy moments but I thought we defended well enough overall and I like the attitude of taking a booking if they really need to. Tammy was poor tonight but as soon as he went off, you can see what he brings to the game in keeping the ball up front instead of us hammering it into space for Kodjia to chase. Jack and SJM are a class apart. Hourihane played well and has hopefully returned to being really useful instead of a hologram. Mings and Hause are ace. Good win Villa. Good subs too.
Keep everyone fit and we should make the top 6.

Break has done him world of good. Refreshed for run in.I could be wrong but I think that was because we'd just won a match 4-0 and Whelan had played well in that match. Certainly well enough to keep his place.
