I have never bought the Sun. I was told at an early age that "that Tory Rag" is not coming in this house!
This was well before Hillsborough. A hateful paper read by imbeciles.

As an Irish person, I refuse to buy the rag that is The Guardian. Up to others here whether they follow suit.

A newspaper that idolises war criminal Tony Blair and rehabilitated George W Bush? Couldn’t agree more.

When something like an accurate history of the past 40 years emerges, that paper (so scummy that some of their own journalists won't have it in their own homes) will be judged to have been one of the prime movers in creating the toxic social atmosphere that we're now experiencing.

Could cite numerous examples - in addition to Hillsborough and Justice for the 21 - but setting working people against each other and sabotaging people's economic well-being (Toffs' organised Brexshit); supporting the Iraq war; converting everyday patriotism into right-wing nationalism; parent company News International, hacking the phones of murdered schoolgirls and of dead soldiers and their families and so, bloody on.

Whenever I see Tom Newton-Dunn, their political editor, on news programmes, he comes across to me as an employee who wouldn't buy his employer's products. I've also read recent articles from former S*n editors, David Yelland and Stig Abel where they've come across to me as trying to distance themselves from the shite that rag peddles.

The Sun have released a statement - "We wrote our story in good faith but in light of info received after publication we will be clarifying the story in tomorrows newspaper".

But dont journalists need to corroborate information before it goes to print from at least 2 sources - have they not seen All the Presidents men?
