Don't buy the Sun

I'm putting this here because it's Villa-related but also because I want as many people as possible to see it.

In their coverage of Sunday's game the Sun made a disgraceful allegation about the Justice for the 21 campaign. I'm not going to link to it, I'm not even going to repeat it because it was false, hurtful and contemptible even by their low standards. All I can say is to repeat what I've always said - don't buy the Sun. Ask everyone you know not to buy the Sun. Ask your newsagent not to stock it. Tell them why, and ask them how they'd feel if it was their family involved. 

They've already tarnished 96 memories. Now they're doing the same to another 21.

I don't buy the Sun for obvious reasons even though there is an Irish issue.  I have no idea what they alluded to but if those others that don't buy it either, how are they/we going to get the message across to those that sell and buy it if, when asked for a reason not to can't offer another reason.  Hillsborough notwithstanding.  I would appreciate a pm giving me details of the latest bile they have used to sully the continued suffering of these families.

They were also collecting outside the North Stand as well, I gave and had to take issue with another Villa fan (older than me and I am almost 60) who asked me why I was giving to what was in his opinion a obvious scam!!

I have suggested before that others might do as I do.  Whenever I go to anywhere that sells The S*n I pick up any other paper, preferably not the Heil, the Torygraph or the Excess, and place it over Murdoch's shit sheet.  The brain dead think the shit is sold out.

A quick google of Sun and Justice for the 21 will give plenty of examples from Twitter of the lies and the response from good people including Bluenoses.

I went to Berlin for the weekend and flew Easyjet. There were free copies for passengers so I just kept saying, rather loudly, 'Don't buy the Sun'. The Times was the other paper. A lot changed their minds and whilst it didn't make a difference to their sales that day, hopefully it did for the future.

I don't know anyone in my    inner circle who buys the Sun and the next time I hire a plumber,  electrician or decorator I'll ask them not to carry it in. In my village I know lots of racist bigots old gentleman who stroll out of the Coop with their faithful oracle the Daily Mail. What should I say to them
