A couple of seasons ago Whelan was immense at the Sty, shed blood for the cause as well. Hard call for the manager, but he has given himself options.

Whelan has been one of our better players this season, unpopular of course but so be it. He was a very to play. Don't think Hourihane could have been dropped after last week. Scored against these last season too.

Not happy with that change at the back. Elmo is only member of back four playing in same position as last week. Granted Jedinak coming in would have been a risk too. They have picked a very attacking line up too. I'm expecting lots of goals

Looking through the Sky highlights of games gone by really reminds me about how much I dislike this fixture.

I don’t care how we do it or what the score is....just win.

The boo for the villa was at least 3 times as loud as their cheer for their own team.  Kind of sums them up.

Is this the only game their fans really bother turning up to?  Love to hate us don't they? It seems to be the only reason some clubs exist.

Their announcer sounds like something from Fun House. Tinpot from top to bottom. I hope we fucking smash them!
