If fans referred to Villa Park as "The Park" it might make a modicum of sense. But we don't, so as strap-lines go it is pretty rubbish. I can only hope that it was the winning entry pulled from an employee suggestion box and has cost the Club a bottle of prosecco, rather than something that was "created" by some marketing agency tossers whilst they were queuing for their flat whites and the invoice for several thousand pounds is in the post.
