So replace the previous slogan with something slightly worse,
We still seem to be suffering from second rate marketing people behind the scenes.
Wankers.

Wankers beacause they used a slogan you don't like?
I guess you must like it then.

Behave.

He’s saying you can not like the slogan and not think those who came up with it are wankers.

I haven't heard a single person say they like it.  What on earth were they thinking of when they came up with this?

I think they should just bite the bullet, shelve it and go back to 'Pride' if they really feel they need a slogan.

It's the lion bit that is so naff.  It is a tired and massively oversold marketing image.  Everybody from Cold Blow Lane to Peugeot to Nestle and Tate and Lyle and back again have done it to death.  Find a more original concept and the naffness can be avoided.

Part of the prank.  We are all going to wake up Bobby Ewing stylee and we'll be back in the top six of the Premier League.

If fans referred to Villa Park as "The Park" it might make a modicum of sense. But we don't, so as strap-lines go it is pretty rubbish. I can only hope that it was the winning entry pulled from an employee suggestion box and has cost the Club a bottle of prosecco, rather than something that was "created" by some marketing agency tossers whilst they were queuing for their flat whites and the invoice for several thousand pounds is in the post.

Perhaps it's a theme park? Maybe it means we're in for a roller-coaster ride?

It wouldn't be so bad if Villa Park was referred to by fans as "The Park"

Maybe the slogan should be "Part of the Factory of Sadness"?

It did, right at the start, with Wembley and Europe and sixth and Acorns and stuff.
Then we had the blood-curdling, eyes-closed, gut-wrenching plummet that went on for forever.
Followed that up with gently meandering around down near the ground, with a little loop-the-loop late last Spring, just to make you feel like you'd got some of your money's worth, before juddering back into the terminal last October when the operator got taken out by a stray vegetable, and it turned out that all the wheels needed replacing.
At which point we all got off, but decided "fuck it, let's get on again".
Only the queue's massive now, and we can't get back on til August. We have to make do with occasionally glimpsing it whiz past as they effect running repairs while we're waiting, always hoping that it'll be fully recommissioned and working better than ever by the time we get back on.

stick with the lion and re-badge it as ‘part of the Circus’ - sums us up currently.
