There's some echoes about Stoke at the moment;

Lots of unprofessional, bad apples. Seems familiar...

A potential midfield of Hourihane, Whelan and Jedinak  ;D How far we've fallen.

Another defeat in one of the worst games ever seen.

Maybe it’s the better weather, maybe because no expects anything to change on Saturday, but surprisingly I feel quite positive that we will win. I expect this to change by 3pm on Saturday though.

Maybe this is why Lansbury is a always injured:

Quote
I remember when Abdoulaye Faye warmed up in flip flops before a game at Chelsea at the end of one season and Glenn ended up taking him on in the dressing room. Sorted.

But if Glenn was in today’s Stoke dressing room he’d need his boxing gloves on half the time.

Bleh. Stoke will probably win. Here's to next season. And possibly the one after that.

As always, the Poet Laureate of The Wirral has an appropriate lyric

I believe I’ve seen holograms
With more substance than you
Automatic doors don’t open for you

WTF!
Playground humour is great if you're 11!
I suppose the scapegoaters will be busy again this weekend in darkened cupboards, rubbing their thighs delighting in the fact that they "have a voice!"
Soooo sad!
Come on the Villa boys, lets get the 3 points!

Yes; also it's not his fault he's playing in a position which doesn't suit him. He was getting loads of compliments last season, but now that he's not doing very well, he seems to have become the target for any jibe and an embodiment of all our troubles.

His defensive efforts in the past few games have been pathetic, so I think he deserves criticism (although not personal abuse of course).  I thought, along with others I might add, that it became quite obvious towards the end of last season that we would need an upgrade on him in the summer, which to be fair McGinn was.
