I left the earliest I've ever left a match, 75 minutes, and could not give a fuck. "Walk of shame", my arse.

Oh come on. You must be a tweeny weeny bit annoyed with yourself!

I think he's overjoyed with the 3-3...

I went for a piss at 81minutes and was in two minds about whether to go back. The cheer for our first decided it but only went back and stood at the top of the steps next to the steward.

We have left early in the past and last nights game, up until the 80th minute, was the perfect example of why.
However, we did stay till the end.

One of my earliest exits was when the 3rd went in in the FA cup quarter final at Oldham on that fucking plastic pitch.

I was out of there before we scored and I have no regrets. We always leave before the end as my old man is nearly 80 and needs a head start on the crowds to get on the train / bus. I have missed countless goals over the years!
It's a personal choice and each their own.
I have just watched the last 10 minutes and I can't believe we didn't get at least 1 penalty!

Watched the match in one pub but left in disgust at around 70 minutes. We rocked up in an alternative boozer with no thought about catching anymore of the game but there it was on the screens so we stood and watched the drama unfold. I say stood but when the third went in I did a lap of honour 'round the place. What made it all the sweeter was that we were deep inside Sandwell territory and between pubs at 3 nil down we came across a gang of Albion tramps spilling out of 'Spoons, laughing and singing Small Heath's club anthem.

Me and AD left at three-nil. We would never have pulled it back if we had stayed... feel free to thank us.

The three of us rarely leave early unless it's a complete lost cause and we've had enough.

Last night at 65 minutes two of us were ready to go and get back for the pub the driver wasn't. So we stuck around until Green hit that first woeful cross that went out for a throw in the other side (i think) and then we collectively said 'fuck this' and headed down the Lower Holte steps towards the exit.

As we got to the bottom we got THE corner. If that hadn't happened we'd have been off and on the way home for sure.

As it was i said 'hold up lets just watch the corner' and so a memorable night under the floodlights was saved and in the memory bank forever.

Despite half the ground being empty, the noise when Green headed home was immense around us. Absolutely buzzing.

I left at 3-0, it’s not just that I’d had enough for that particular game it was an accumulation of ‘having enough’ for the last 10 years during which I’ve missed a handful of games home and away. Preston, Wigan and Reading sucked out a lot of my resolve.

That said I watched the goals live on a stream on the way back and of course regretted leaving, but enjoyed the comeback as much as being there.

Oh and for the record if we’re three down at Brentford I’ll be leaving early again to get an earlier train.

I usually stay to the end, couple of exceptions on 03/03/03 and when Coventry dicked us 4-1, I imagine if I had a ST during those last couple of PL seasons I would have left early on a regular basis.

People pay their money and makes their choice, if they want to leave early that’s up to them.

Only time I have had a go at people leaving early is when a couple of gobby twats had a go at people for not singing, screaming at people to support the team  then they left early...made a point of telling them they needed to support the team to the end of the game....surprisingly they didn’t like that.

One of my earliest exits was when the 3rd went in in the FA cup quarter final at Oldham on that fucking plastic pitch.

A car load of us also left that Oldham game very early (we usually always stayed to the end of away games). The only time I have ever done a real 'walk of shame' was when I a DJ at an apartment complex in Tenerife and had spent the night at said complex with a nurse from Oxford in her room. The next morning I told her I had to go and in doing so avoid the pool area as I had to pop back to my apartment, get changed ready to do the daytime sports activities and meet my new boss for the first time who would be waiting for me by the pool. Her reply was to ask me just how pissed I had been the night before and open the curtains to show me her apartment was right next to the swimming pool! My new boss caught me leaving and doing the walk of shame (another member of staff saw me and kindly introduced us which was the last thing I needed to happen at that point). It turned out to be the perfect ice breaker as he just looked me up and down, smiled and said "been out shagging all night"? He was a Brazilian guy who looked the dead spit of Andi Peters and he had an eye for the guests as well. We never fell out over that though as it was the young male guests he was interested in.

Two games I remember leaving early off the top of my head are the Liverpool ticket fiasco Cup game at home and Boro away in the semi final of the Zenith Data or whatever it was called.

I left my football scores notification app (futbol24 used to be good now fucking shite, any app suggestions gratefully received) on though, leading to 20 minutes  of 'Oh for fuck's sake! 'Ooh fuck me!' 'Eh? What the fuck?' and 'Fucking Hell!

I use flashscores and have never had a problem with it.
