Do you have any other tricks? As this one is beyond dull.

At least GregNash was a funny troll.

The only time I can ever recall leaving early was when we lost 2-0 at home to Le Tissier in 1993.  I'd probably have stuck that out too, but the cold seeping into my feet from the Holte End concrete was in danger of causing frostbite.

I left early on 80 minutes. I don't recall the last time I left that early. Even stayed until the death when Liverpool beat us 6. I thought if Ieft 10 mins early i might have a chance of kissing my daughter goodnight to bed whilst she was still stirring, being the soppy sod i am.
Typically shed just gone fast to sleep after I'd got in anyway.

I wasn’t there but I wouldn’t have left early if I was. (Had a job interview up north so couldn’t be there)

I ended up having to watch it on my iPad and I don’t blame anyone for leaving early. We weren’t just 3-0 down, we were showing no signs of life.

There’s no need to call it a walk of shame, but nights like Friday are why those of us who stay, stay. Because there is no better feeling in football than an unlikely last minute comeback, or winner.

.....and on nights like Friday, missing that feeling is it’s own punishment. There’s no need for name calling.

As an aside, a combination of goal alerts, & texts from Jane, were arriving a little before each goal on the iPad. Just a I said ‘ironic cheers from the Holte because we’ve actually got a corner’ - my phone went ‘ping’ & I was surprised to see we were about to score! It possibly spoilt it a bit to actually be waiting for the 3rd to go in after getting a text from Jane saying ‘Yesssssss!!!’ But not much!

As a further aside, the other game I had to miss this season was Forest. There’s a theme emerging.

I think SHQ was joking. Plus, it doesn't matter whether we're losing, drawing or winning. Come 80 minutes, half the Witton Lane lower will leave. Bizarre.

No doubt the OP was lighthearted. Some responses not so much.

Needed a better worded title, perhaps. Misfortune rather than shame.
