I don't leave early as a general rule, but the day Coventry twatted us 4-1 at VP saw me on the Expressway when John Hartson scored.
I left the earliest I've ever left a match, 75 minutes, and could not give a fuck. "Walk of shame", my arse.
I stayed, but largely because I didn't want to battle through the people leaving and thought I'd get away more quickly at FT.I don't blame anyone who did leave. It wasn't just that we were 3-0 down but there appeared to be a total lack of spark and going into the 80th minute I felt there was only one side with any chance of finishing the game strongly. Which obviously made the comeback even more of a surprise!I have no issue with people who spend their hard-earned money watching performances like last night wondering why they bother and deciding they'd rather beat the traffic and get home in the warm. Better that than staying behind to boo the team off, in my opinion.
