I still don’t understand, and maybe there’s is good reason for it which is eluding me, as to why we can’t hear the entire press conference. I want hear more than easy questions tossed up by the home reporter.

Probably because each media outlet would like to report on their own questions. If we saw it all we wouldn't bother watching anywhere else and that wouldn't do!

We had 5 mins of rubbish questions about playing under the lights and then seem to have to rush through the important one or two questions about injury updates etc. Think you need some balls to be a good journalist and if you are sat there in awe of pros and ex pros/manager you aren't going to show any.

"Do you like playing under the lights?"

"It's winter, all the games are under lights!"

Superb.

My prediction for tomorrow...

3.5 hours to get down the M6 and night closures on the way home.

Take that prediction to the bank!

Rather you than me! Last time I did your trip a few weeks ago it took me four hours.

The run starts here. An absolutely thriller where we win 3-2 after being 2 down

Looks like we are split on this one - I have just voted (for a win) and made it 28 votes each for all 3 choices!
Now that is close....

Can we not ask better and more insightful questions that what’s it like to play at Villa Park under the lights? FFS

Yeah, was a bit of a kids competition winners question. Something about a possible change of tactics and personel would be nice.

I was thinking exactly the same. The obvious questions about Hause & Carroll playing or progress. Terrible press conference ……..

Hope not as I'm unlikely to stick around for the comeback.
4-2 Villa in a controlled victory. 2-0, 2-1, 4-1, 4-2.

I reckon Nan's Hair would have been grateful for the gentle, inane questions from the in house bloke, but Smith has never really backed off from answering anything difficult, and I think he finds the questions as daft as we do, hence his "it's winter, all the games are under the lights" retort.

Another chance to prove we can beat a good team without Grealish, hopefully we can do it but going on the past 2 months, 2-1 to Sheffield Utd.
