Kalinic with a superb save
He actually saved it directly into the path of the attacking line,  could easily been put in

The reaction for a bloke to get down that fast who is 6ft 7 was brilliant.

Decent save by Kalinic. We’ve gone to shit in the past 20 mins.
I would have thought at least 3153600 minutes, maybe even as many as 5256000.

Referee has missed some stick on hand balls too. The officiating down here is abysmal.

After yet another shithouse first half display, we are deluded if we think we can get out of this league any time soon. What happen to the open, expansive, attacking play that DS promised when he arrived?

Not one of our players has any composure on the ball. Not one of them can dictate the play.

Doesn't help when neither Whelan or Hourihane make themselves available for a pass when under the slightest bit of pressure. Might aswell get Whelan off at the break, not offering anything defensively.

It’s what Whelan does. And not just that I’ve said a million times the midfield plays so much deeper with him in it. Now it’s not like we are flush with options but I do hope Smith gets Carroll on so we can see what he’s capable of. He’s a tidier, more attacking player. But without Jack who drives the team forward we look so devoid of composure, ideas and creativity.

I don’t think he’s changed from that. But if the players in our midfield can’t keep possession or aren’t the type to force the play forwards then it’s not going to happen. McGinn simply cannot do it all on his own.

Apparently we can only play that way when Jack is in the side.

Bloody hell the commentary on AVTV is even further out of sync now than in the 1st half.

While I admire your positive slant on things, at present we have no idea when JG will be back and when he does return, how many games will it take for him to get up to speed. 16 and counting to the end of yet another season in this crap league.
