Genuinely think he'll retire after Sunday, would be a fantastic way to go out.

I've no doubt the club will offer him a role but I reckon he'll go the PFA route...

Wasn't the new contract he signed for an extra year but on much reduced wages? So it's unlikely to be as much as that.

Not that it matters, because your point is still correct whether he's saying goodbye to £5m, £4m, £3m or any money.

He also came later to the professional game late, so I can easily see him having a year or two at Bristol City or similar.

I think he is a good guy to have behind the scenes and in the dressing room, he may not be captain anymore, but he is still a leader.
