Tyrone Mings hae been a fabulous servant and ambassador for Aston Villa.

He's of an age where the serious injuries he's had may catch up with him. But do we really need post after post saying exactly the same thing about him being finished etc? It's depressing to read.

He, Emery, and we, all know his status, his ability and where he's at. He's had a great Villa career and I'm proud that he's been our player. There is no question at all that he's helped us from the lowest place we've been for a very long time to the very top, competing for trophies and playing at the highest level.

Yes, I think this is very well put.

In the surge for improvement and the expectation of better times ahead you can sometimes lose sight of what or who has got us to where we are in the first place.

Whatever the summer may bring the most important thing to recognise is that Tyrone Mings has been a wonderful player and a key component in our rise over the last few years.

A great guy too who always speaks well and shows the club in a good light when he does.

A top professional who will always have a place in the Villa's history.

Well said.  His contribution to our recent history should ensure that when he does depart he will always gets a hero's reception when he sets foot back in Villa Park.

I think thats already assured.  I just hope the end, which I’m sure is coming in a couple of weeks, is not too painful for him or us.

I'll be disappointed in him if he's pictured at New Street station wearing his new team's kit.

I'm not so sure it's the end for him. I think that he's struggled to get over the injury earlier in the season, physically, and then to get to the pace of games with limited minutes. But that could change with a decent pre-season.

He's not good enough for where we are currently. Needs to go in the summer.

Is he injured? He wasn’t on the bench on Friday night.

Not in the picture with Peter Withe as far as I can see.

All players eventually leave. This particular man has always been a very decent human being as well as a good player for this club. I will genuinely miss him
