True, we couldn't pass through the lines to save our lives, and every outball to Watkins was overhit. Class was indeed needed.

No one forced Ramsey on to the private plane to Newcastle- if he did not want to go he could of stayed

I am sure that he got a couple of million pay off from the Villa for his troubles

Tyrone - the man for a great comment but in reality only cares about himself - he could of gone to Wolves for £30 million when Gerrard was manager, but had one of his big sulkies to stop the move happening ( and that is fact)

Let me get this straight - choosing to stay at Villa is the new Bad and Selfish?

Bizarrely worded post that sid. Are you saying JJ could/should have had a "big sulkie" too?

Going to the Wulfs to team-up with that Scouse accent like nails down a blackboard, Connor Coady? No wonder he stayed put.

I always had the impression Villa loving Coady was desperate to join us?

All the noise around Ramsey is that he was a sacrificial lamb.

A little concerning that we got £45m from CL, £70m for Duran and still had to sell JJ for £40m.
