Fuck Bournemouth and their big lanky goon who got levelled trying it on with Mings. They're a physical team and this is what happens when you play a physical game.

A big lanky goon? Wasn’t it a small guy?

5ft 10. I looked it up earlier, didn't feel big enough to go with the lanky description, but not small enough to come back and criticise.

Good to see we both at least wanted to be pedantic though. I just decided to do it without any research.

Thanks Dave. That means a lot in the 5ft 10 community.

5 feet 10 is just the right sort of size for someone to get twatted by a 6 foot 5 elbow. Completely the Bournemouth players fault for trying to munch on Tyrone‘s elbow.

But makes the 5ft 4 community very inadequate.

I'd imagined you being much taller. Expect much less respect from me in our future exchanges - you're no better than me!

Apprently I grew an inch this last year, which at the age of 46 came as a surprise.  As a long term member of the 5' 7" club it was a bit of a wrench to have to say goodbye to the old crew, but glad to be amongst those in the more rarified air of the 5' 8" club.  Reckon I'd have ducked that elbow comfortably.

According to Jay White on the Love of Paul McGrath podcast who was at the Bournemouth game, Konsa threw his arms up in a ‘WTF?’ gesture when Mings’ number came up on the subs board.

As did I.

Isn't that Konsa's normal move? He does it about 10 times a match.

Konsa needs to be careful if he falls out with Unai there is only going to be 1 winner and it is not Konsa.

Mings was supposedly knackered after 70 minutes that is why he was substituted.

In that Mings interview that was posted, he says he's still in a rehab phase so they're understandably being careful with him.
