Pau against Brighton then Tyrone for Forest/PSG then Pau against Southampton. We have two quality LCBs in the squad and with this fixture schedule we need to use them.

we can also rotate Mings with Disasi who offers more defensive resilience  than Torres .

He's not going to play Disasi at LCB unless there's a problem with Mings and Pau.

Mings should not be playing 3 games a week , Disasi is here to play not sit on the bench .

Emery likes having left sided centre backs though. Disasi's here as an option on the right and at right back. Mings won't play every game, but it will be Pau that comes in when he doesn't play.

You're probably giving Tim's cries for attention more credit than they deserve.

And that will be the issue . Our leaky defence is likely to have cost us top 5 this season unless we can go on an epic run now whilst also juggling the cups .
Torres weakens the defensive line with both a lack of leadership , communication and general ability to robustly defend .

Lovely interview as ever with the big man. He’s so eloquent and like McGinn and Watkins, comes across as a top man. When some of this generation of players start to eventually leave, I’ll be genuinely sad, in a way I don’t think I’ve ever been before.

Big T part of another clean sheet. Has that little bit of bite about his defending as well. I love the fella.
