He was jogging on the pitch at full time in the coat he'd put on when he came off. Hopefully he's alright for Tuesday.

He was jogging on the pitch whilst he was trying to defend in the game - just not good enough and hopefully in the summer he will get a move to a Championship club or Saudi / America to finish off his career in football.

The big man will leave in summer and hopefully sign for a top end championship club and finish his career on a well deserved high with a promotion push.

If he does leave in the Summer I hope the door is left open for a role at the club, similar to Elmo and Ian Taylor

Too early to write off his career at Villa Park. It's his left knee that he hurt in that block tackle by West Ham's Kudus last month. It's not the right knee he injured last season resulting in the ACL. Ideally, Emery would've rotated more if Torres was fit. The CB injuries have been horrendous this season. Even Kamara filling in has got injured. Good job we got Disasi in at the last minute!

Yeah he's having to play whilst 85% fit which is a bit unfair on him but there are limited options. He's just helped us to 4 points against two decent sides so writing him off is laughable .

I think it will be his last season, but I also think he's not fit but playing as we're so short. He's already played a big part just holding the fort and his return at least stemmed the tide of every cross ending up in the net for a bit, and there's still a long way to go.

I really like him as a player and love him as a person but think there's a good chance we move him on, mainly because the club will see a fee coming in and 100k a week freed up as being an option they want to take.

He'll be 32, and coming off the back of a year out with his second ACL.  I doubt there will be much of a 'fee' involved if he does go.  If he plays to the end of the season without injury, then maybe a small-ish fee might be possible.

It's also not beyond the realms that in the final year of his contract he just becomes our 4th choice centre-back, who might get the odd cup game, but is unlikely to feature regularly.  He might be happy with that.  I think we'd struggle to find a better option as 4th choice.

My guess is there will be at least one major CB arrival in the summer, if not Disasi then someone else, who is likely to become a first-choice pairing with Pau.  Whether Ezri can hold them off in the way Digne has held off challengers to his position, remains to be seen.

Even £3m is a plus for the books. I'd keep him but i'm not running a club with a 96% ratio.

Replacing him will almost certainly cost more and the salary probably similar. Unless this Turkish lad is ahead of schedule.

I hope it isn't his last season.  He was fine when he returned from the main injury and it showed we were much stronger with him at the back, then, that strong challenge on the other leg v West Ham knocked him back. Clearly he needed a longer recovery from that. I was looking forward to a Mings-Disasi fortress at the back.  Looks like it will have to wait a bit longer.  I think he has another season maybe two at a push in him if he can remain injury free.

I hope you're right but I think the ruthless march of progress will call time.

It was an horrific injury he had, take yourself back to that night and a hell of a lot of us thought that is Mings done as a player.

He’s got himself back and he has clearly had to play more than Unai would have wanted and has played on through more niggles & suspect he will continue to put his body on the line for the cause for the rest of the season.

What he I will say is that he is the only defender we own who actually attacks the ball and as a squad option for next season I would be happy to see him get a preseason and play a role.

Saying that I suspect Mings alongside McGinn, Cash and even Konsa might start to come under Unai’s microscope to move on / upgrade over next 12 months.

Mings has been a great signing for us but the worst case scenario is that he becomes a scapegoat as I know there are some in our fanbase (I have one such prat who sits in front of me) who relish him making any mistake to slag him off and prove they are great footballing minds.

Farage supporter or former Leeds fan?

That night at DirtyLeeds where they'd been giving him stick all night was possibly my favourite awayday in the last few years when he went over at the end to applaud them and they totally lost their shit.
