It’s great news that the injury isn’t serious. That’s what matters most considering how it looked on Sunday

Oh indeed, he couldn't have really complained if he'd seen a yellow. Just that it's one of those where there isn't a "technically the referee should have done such-and-such".

A booking would have been understandable, just as no booking also is.

My bad I thought deliberate hand ball was a booking offence

I agree the ref used common sense because of the mitigating circumstances

Yes, great news that Tyrone's injury isn't too serious. Even better that he might be ready for Celtic tomorrow. We still need another right sided centre back to replace Diego Carlos.

Townley just said couple of weeks (after asking Ramsey). Mings didn’t train today.

I would have thought tomorrow would be too soon. But a couple of weeks is a whole lot better than it seemed on Sunday.

Good news indeed, I think Morgan Rogers's cold lasted longer than that.

In the press conference, UE said Mings needs a few more days to recover from his 'small' injury. So perhaps in another week he'll be ready for Spurs in the FA Cup. Pity he can't face Wolves tomorrow to keep Cunha quiet.

Good no point risking further injury. We need to be cautious  with him

I thought Tyrone might be back for Sunday as UE suggested he'd be out only a couple of weeks? Anyone know when he's likely to return?

It’s a Villa couple of weeks. Think dog years and multiply by 7.

So we're having a makeshift defence again for the Spurs game then.

I’m sure, quite understandably, they’re going to be cautious on when he’ll return and as much as we might not like it, an FA Cup game probably isn’t the one to take a risk.

I'm a bit worried about his fitness. Looked to be walking very gingerly after the game on his way to the car, but did have a big smile on his face.

I fear 3 games in 8 days may be too much, though we might not have choice...

Hopefully it was just a bit of muscle soreness.
