Hopefully he's ok for Wednesday.

From the club point of view it might not be great, in that that is entirely possible. I’m just glad for him it’s not a major set back.

It must be very mentally and physically demanding as it is but under Emery even more so. Its full credit to Mings.
I would say in another season or so if he left I can see him going to play under Deano at Charlotte one day.

And then when he finishes playing very much like him back at Villa as an ambassador.

Hopefully great news. It was very much Newcastle vibes when he went down..

I'd imagine that was his thoughts too. I'd shit myself if I'd had a serious knee injury and took a knock to one again. You'd automatically think the worse.

It wasn't the same knee but same as others thought "oh no " at first

I really hope it's not a serious injury to his knee.

Don't think I've ever been so worried in the stadium about a player before. The players went to pieces without him too

He’s quoted saying it’ll take him 4-months before that feeling goes.

The west ham bench moaning and having a go at the 4th official about the time it was taking was classless and expected by a club owned by sullivan.

We were a bit all at sea for a while but regained some composure. I thought West Ham would play on our loss with an aerial bombardment but it never materialised.

I think that's one of the many differences, psychologically, between players and the rest of us. Being able to box it off and perform as before

When I was a kid I went over a long way on an ankle. It wasn't a break but tore all kinds of things, and I've never, not ever, not given it at least a passing thought when I've played any kind of sport in the 45 years since.

And at this level, I'd guess that even the smallest drop in focus and commitment would be a huge problem, unless you're at least part divine.

When Mings decided that he did have to come off, he should have sat down on the pitch rather than hobbling towards the touchline.

That would have allowed the sub decision to be made in a much less panicky way.

Bogarde was initially told to get ready to go on but then it was decided to go with iMaat

He caught the ball once he decided he couldn't carry on (half expected that ref to book him for that as he walked off).

It shouldn't have been a panicked move given that he had gone down and come back on. Once he came back on, it was a case of wait and see, and he didn't look comfortable when he went forward for the corner.

Technically the ref should have booked him
You can’t just pick the ball up because you’re injured

The ref showed some common sense in this instance but the he couldn’t have any complaints if he had been booked
