Superb tonight. I was much lower down seat wise tonight so could hear the players. He is constantly leading/shouting/organising.

Just what this group needs.

He was excellent. Whether he's up for playing two games in a week at the moment, I don't know but I hope he stays in for Saturday.

Tyrone in the form he was in before his injury is an essential player for us.

Great return by Ty! Not sure why there is such a felt need by some to include Torres in the team. He is a bang average defender and, frankly, Mings put a ball over the top that was as nice as anything I have seen from Torres. Torres is a nice backup.

Tyrone and Boubacar have been sorely missed. They were both immense tonight.

We have to find a way to get Mings and Torres playing together.

That's a combination I would like to see, but would ultimately mean Konsa at right-back - as he doesn't deserve to be left out.

Tyrone was brilliant last night.  Yes, he has a mistake in him (last night it wasn't punished when the sub Thiago easily got the wrong side of him for a clear shot at goal (that he fluffed, thankfully), but I lost count of the confident clearances he made.  And not just clearances, his clearing header to Youri led to a goal - personally, I think that header was as good as a cultured pass into a midfielder to begin an attack.

We definitely look more secure at the back with him in the team, and given the run we've been on, that's really important - even if it means we lose a small bit of ability on the ball at the back.

Yes, that was a very good through ball by Mings, as good as anything Pau has delivered of late.  From our defence, I want defending first and foremost, slide Rule passing, 2nd.  Each game is horses for courses so when the set up requires building from the back, Pau gets the nod but generally, Mings is the man for the starting spot as we look more confident at the back with him there.

Almost like people disagree with you, incredible though I'm sure it sounds.

Mings is good on the ball, Torres is better.

Torres is a good defender, Mings is better.

It's a completely sensible opinion.

Great to see him back.
Hopefully we now have the options subject to the opposition and how UE wants to play the game.

At this moment in time, if Mings is fit and can start, he starts. Its as simple as that. This team needs to get its confidence back. That back four chooses itself for the next few weeks...

It does irk me that people seem to view it as a zero sum game, like now we have Ty back we must banish Torres to St Helena or something.
